Responsibilities: Support the performance of pipeline hydraulic flow and pressure calculations. Assist in performing pump calculations and developing system curves for sizing pumps. Prepare construction and design cost estimates under the guidance of senior engineers. Participate in the planning and design of water and wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage, and treatment systems. Assist in the planning and design of water and wastewater facility projects, including pump stations, lift stations, and treatment plants. Gain exposure to project management, client interface, and business development for future projects. Conduct site visits during design and construction to observe construction installations. Review construction shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project design documents. Perform other tasks as assigned to support project goals and team objectives. Required: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or NCEES equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Experience or interest in water/wastewater treatment and pumping facilities design is preferred. Familiarity with production tools, or modeling and design software is a plus. Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry.
