A student manager is responsible for creating an inclusive environment for all students, faculty, staff, and guests by assisting shifts. He/She oversees building assistants to ensure that the student staff complies with all policies and procedures. He/She also helps in developing and implementing building policies. Apart from this, the student manager ensures the building is properly secured and executes an emergency action plan when necessary.
Additionally, he/she oversees set-ups for events, including furniture, audio-visual equipment, and general appearance of the student center. His/Her job often includes attending to and recording maintenance concerns.
