Represent and promote palliative care services in the community to drive growth, engagement, and awareness. Essential Clinical Functions (RN) Provide skilled nursing care in collaboration with NP/MD as needed. Assess patients' symptoms and provide education and support to families and caregivers. Participate in on-call services and ensure responsive, clinically competent patient care. Maintain expertise in pain and symptom management, documenting all care accurately in the EMR. About You: Qualifications Registered Nurse with prior Home Health, Hospice, and/or Palliative Care experience. Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or related field (required). Master's degree in Business or related field (preferred). Minimum of 2 years of healthcare administration/operations management. CHPN (Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse) certification preferred. Prior budget development and financial management experience required. Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance billing and reimbursement. These patients are primarily adults 18 years and older. However, we also care for approximately 1-2 pediatric patients per month. Our patient population consists of but not limited to post-op knees, hips, shoulders, colon resections, bariatric surgery, sepsis, pancreatitis, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and stable pneumothorax. Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 with the assistance of Patient Care Associates. We have an exceptional unit highlighted by coworkers with knowledge, dedication, teamwork, empathy, and compassion. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
