Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. What you will do in this role:
You will be specializing within the Acute Care Telemetry unit.
You will assess the patients condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
You will perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patients medical record. - Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.

You will educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patients medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.

Job Description
The purpose of the Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) position is to provide comprehensive health services to DOS, DOD, and contractor personnel stationed in Iraq. The ICU Nurse is a highly trained RN who treats patients with life-threatening illnesses or conditions with critical interventions and complex care planning. The ICU Nurse assumes responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct and indirect care to patients. The ICU RN will competently function as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide patient centred care. The ICU RN serves as an advocate for the patient and their family and intercedes by acting as a liaison concerning patient rights and beliefs. The ICU Registered Nurses will utilize their expertise in evidenced-based medical practice to manage unexpected and emergent situations mitigating and treating a variety of injuries and illnesses promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients and continuous vital signs monitoring.
Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and other treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.

Job Summary and Qualifications
What you will do in this role:
You will be responsible for coordinating the nursing care of assigned patients in the Unit in order to provide quality patient care.
You will be responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the appropriate age populations.
You will provide professional nursing care exercising independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.

What qualifications you will need:
1-year of clinical Med Surg experience as a licensed RN required in an acute care setting
Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).

Job Description
The Registered Nurse in this position will represent International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. and will provide comprehensive health services to DOS, DOD, and contractor personnel stationed in Iraq. Registered Nurses will use a holistic approach to care for the patients requiring acute medical or surgical interventions. Nurses will be accountable clinically for ensuring nursing care compliance with accepted standards of care and clinical practice. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and mental health status.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements/Certifications:

+ Provides and maintains a clean, safe environment and performs and/or assists others to perform proper aseptic technique, isolation procedures and infection control measures
+ Promotes and demonstrates acceptable productivity and practices cost containment for nursing practice and patient care.
+ Competently and consistently completes accurate, concise and legible documentation on all patient, unit and hospital records (including care delivery and telephone patient related interactions)
+ Competently utilizes electronic forms of communication and documentation.
+ Participates in the development and implementation of mechanisms/processes that promote optimal use of documentation systems.
+ Meets periodic UTMB and unit specific compliance requirements for health screening, training, attendance, safety and CPR.
+ Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure
