General Duties:
Maintains competency with all emergency operational procedures, and initiate CPR and emergency measures in the event of a cardiac and/or respiratory arrest when the patient is in the medical office.
Administers medications as prescribed including following algorithms (as appropriate), and document appropriate medical justification if indicated and maintain records on controlled substances as required by law.
Maintenance/Technical:
Maintains appropriate skill level in the operation of all home dialysis therapy-related equipment, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems with the patient via telephone.
Directs patients in the preventative maintenance of home therapies equipment, including water systems and analyses as appropriate.
Coordinates with the company products division on the delivery, operation and maintenance of all home therapy dialysis equipment.
Medical Records & Documentation:
Admits all new patients and documents as needed.
Documents all relevant data including physician orders, lab results, vital signs, and treatment parameters, and patient status and any treatment related data appropriately, and enters into Medical Information System.
Participates in and ensures all company policies regarding patient admission, transfer, and discharge are appropriately implemented.
Completes all monthly and annual reporting as required by company policies and government regulations.

Prepare healthy nutritious meals and snacks for shelter residents in accordance with shelter menu.
Must maintain a sanitary environment by performing light maintenance duties and delegating such duties/chores to residents and other staff. Ensure that the kitchen is clean with dishes done by the end of the shift.
Help facilitate daily engaging, interactive activities and groups of a recreational, cultural or educational nature in accordance with weekly schedule. This may include house meetings and support groups in accordance with the daily schedule.
Provide case management support as needed by providing transportation, documentation in appropriate logs and files, complete client Intakes and discharges. This includes cleaning the resident's room, obtaining resident's evaluation, labeling and storing belongings.
Plan and facilitate daily engaging, interactive activities and groups of a recreational, cultural or educational nature, in accordance with weekly schedule.
Supervise parental visits.
Emotional support to shelter residents and their families.
Must work in conjunction with other Youth Care Workers by enforcing program policies and procedures, provide emotional support to shelter residents and their families and screen crisis referrals. Network with other staff before, during and/or after weekend duty regarding the progress and status of residents.
Provide transportation to shelter residents.
Perform telephone coverage, screen referrals and provide information to residents and community.
Attending weekly case management meetings.
