The Simulation Education Specialist provides oversight of simulation programs to ensure a positive learning environment that advances the learning objectives of education within ThedaCare. * The Simulation Specialist provides simulation curricular and assessment guidance for educational activities and oversees data collection to evaluate learning outcomes that comply with best practice standards for simulation requirements. This positions also manages the utilization of simulation resources to ensure fidelity of curricula and assessments involving simulation modalities and enhances team and collaborative practice concepts with program directors, faculty, staff and simulation education leaders. This position will include some travel to support more than one site within ThedaCare, so ability to be onsite at these facilities is required. Core job functions: * Develop the annual simulation budget by gathering, analyzing and synthesizing appropriate data and reports. * Coordinate and supervise simulation general operations to meet system needs and applicable regulatory standards * Maintain awareness of current practices in healthcare simulation training to provide a variety of patient simulation experiences to meet the needs of the learner.
