Qualifications: Valid California K-12 Single Subject Art Credential or Multiple Subject Credential with an Art Supplement. English Language Learner (EL) Authorization (CLAD, BCLAD, or equivalent) required. Experience in designing and delivering developmentally appropriate and engaging visual arts curriculum. Strong knowledge of instructional strategies to deliver balanced and comprehensive visual arts instruction, including technology integration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Proven ability to analyze instructional effectiveness and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Experience showcasing student artwork publicly and fostering community engagement through the visual arts. Physical Requirements: Capability to actively engage students in art activities, including extended periods of standing and demonstrating artistic techniques. Adequate visual and auditory capabilities for effective classroom instruction. Education & Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
