We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Educator to support enterprise-wide training initiatives during a major EHR transition and beyond. This role will focus on onboarding, upskilling, and continuous education for front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end revenue cycle teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
This is a fully onsite opportunity based in the Phoenix area. Candidates must be comfortable teaching in live classroom settings and traveling between facilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver in-person training for revenue cycle staff across front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end workflows
Support EHR transition training (Cerner to Epic experience strongly preferred)
Facilitate new-hire onboarding and ongoing education programs
Teach both technical workflows and soft skills (customer service, communication, de-escalation, etc.)
Conduct group and individual training sessions
Adapt training materials to meet operational needs
Support go-live and surge training periods as needed
Travel between sites (including occasional out-of-state travel when required)
Required Qualifications
4+ years of hands-on revenue cycle operations experience
Demonstrated experience training, teaching, or mentoring staff
Cross-functional knowledge of:
Front-end (registration, eligibility, insurance verification)
Mid-cycle (coding, charge capture, documentation workflows)
Back-end (billing, AR, denials, follow-ups)
Strong presentation and classroom facilitation skills
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Willingness to work fully onsite and travel between facilities
Must be open to conversion to permanent employment

Teaching Seminary

2. Participate in a brief (3-4 days) teaching practicum local seminary.
3. Student Teach. Studentteachers are selected from successful practicum participants. There are more practicum participants than there are studentteacher openings in any given term.
Studentteachers are hired to teach one or two seminary classes in a local seminary. Studentteachers are paid for teaching time, and for preparation and administrative time. The typical studentteacher assignment is a 15-20 hour per week position.
The studentteacher experience can last from one semester/trimester up to a full high school academic year, and in some cases even longer. During this time, studentteachers continue the training process and are assessed and evaluated throughout as they are considered for employment. Decisions about full-time employment are made by the administration of Seminaries and Institutes in Salt Lake City. Decisions about part-time employment are made by local S&I administrators and depend on current demand. There are always more studentteachers than there are openings in any given year.

Job Summary:
The ELD Itinerant teacher, acting as the district teacher for English Language Learners (ELLs) will provide English vocabulary, grammar, and conversation instruction to identified ELLs. The ELD Itinerant teacher will be responsible for the implementation of the English Language Proficiency Standards, the Discrete Skills Inventory and district curriculum. The ELD Itinerant teacher reports directly to site principal and the ELAD department.
Candidates must complete an on-line application which requires appropriate Arizona certification, valid IVP Arizona fingerprint clearance card, evidence of highly qualified status, three letters of recommendation, and transcript of credits.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilizes district/state adopted material and curriculum guides in instructional planning and implementation
Continuously and accurately collects student achievement data using a variety of tools (e.g. assessments, projects, checklists, anecdotal records, portfolios, etc.), utilizes this information to make instructional and management decisions that will positively impact student achievement
Establishes positive relationships with classroom teachers and parents
Maintains open lines of communication
Attends and participates in professional development
Demonstrates a willingness to maintain a flexible schedule
Works collaboratively and communicates with other ELD Itinerant teachers
Demonstrates knowledge of related subject matter, instructional skills, and resource materials
Assists with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education, language, ESL or related field
Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate
SEI, ESL or Bilingual Endorsement
1-3 years of general teaching experience
Demonstrates knowledge of Second Language Acquisition
Experience managing a schedule across multiple schools or locations
