Position Overview

This is a contract position for the Summer of 2025 (six weeks from June 23 through August 1, 2025) that will require some preparation and orientation time during the month of June. This program is planning to blend instruction remotely (70%) and in-person (30%). The position could also be extended to include work on Saturdays during the school year. Job Purpose:
The Middle School Math Teacher will focus on the academic achievement of students by utilizing a variety of web-based educational tools and interactive online classroom sessions. This position is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with students and families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop online learning content
Demonstrate use of artistic media and techniques live and in video recordings
Record original instructional videos and content for art courses
Assess and provide feedback on student work
Interact with students and families through a course or learning management system
Deliver whole-group and small group instruction during live, synchronous virtual class sessions
Hold daily office hours
Contribute to IEP input for special education students and attend IEP meetings
