Our Little Village is an endeavor that is providing an unprecedented service to students with children at two locations, Milne and Dixon. At OLV, student parents can drop of their child(ren) at no charge (student incidental fees are funding the program), while they workout at Dixon, attend a class, complete homework, go to a meeting on campus, etc. Additionally, OSU employees can pay for their child(ren) to attend OLV, so they can go to work on campus.

Position Duties
The student employees at Our Little Village Early Care & Education Centers are the main staff of the centers. Under the guidance and direct/indirect supervision of the Site Director and Asst. Director, the student employees are primarily responsible for the welfare of the children in the centers and providing a fun, safe and engaging classroom environment. As such, students are required to carry out numerous tasks related to the care of children along with a fellow student employee.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
* Interfacing with parents about their children and building relationships with families
* Caring for a variety of ages of children at the same time
* Creating a welcoming, caring, inclusive and safe environment for all children, parents, and fellow staff members
* Performing opening and closing duties
* Maintaining scheduled hours
