Paraprofessionals are assigned to students who regularly need assistance to maintain appropriate and equitable participation in school. They assist students one on one or in group settings.
CLIENT HOURS
School based hours Monday to Friday.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Work one on one with students to ensure a safe, nurturing, and academically stimulating environment
* Provide students with goal-oriented support that fosters independence and the ability to display socially acceptable behaviors in the school environment.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* 1 year experience working with children.
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalency
