PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans, instructional materials and tests to facilitate active learning.
Instruct, encourage and monitor students' learning--adjusting strategies as needed to optimize learning.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Kansas elementary teaching license with High Incidence K-12 endorsement required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the performance of light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The position involves prolonged sitting, standing, walking, talking, and hearing; occasional stooping, bending, and reaching; some pushing, pulling, lifting, kneeling, balancing, and crouching. The position involves having close visual acuity to perform activities of the job. The position also requires the operation of learning technologies such as computers, hand-held devices, etc. as well as relevant office equipment. Work is preformed mostly in an indoor environment, with occasional outdoor requirements. Work is performed in a generally clean and hazard free environment.
