ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role you will provide direct instruction across multiple subject areas to VHG students. As this is a start-up, this role will require high levels of adaptability and resourcefulness. VHG will deploy a blended-instruction model with on-site certified teachers and an accredited online school. Functioning in a highly individualized environment, this role requires a teacher who is comfortable in a non-traditional academic setting. You will work closely with our online accredited school and operations personnel to ensure academic progress and overall academic quality.

The teacher will A.) Schedule, complete and track all required home visits and parent/teacher conferences, B.) Schedule and complete child developmental screenings and assessments, C.) Deliver of 1:1 ABA - based therapy to students.

Complete current programs during Discrete Trial Training session.

Assist with daily self-help skills, including hygiene, with students when necessary.

Job Description:
A Teacher is responsible for helping maintain a safe and healthy learning environment, to promote the positive development of all children. Helps Lead Teachers plan, direct or coordinate the academic and nonacademic activities of the children in our care. Helps teach and carry out learning objectives for all ages and/or classrooms. Greets parents and children at drop off/pick up. Helps with many daily tasks such as, diapers/potty training, laundry, cleaning tables, chairs, diapering areas before and after each use, and toys at naptime and/or the end of each day, stocks supplies for next day. Knows and complies with keeping state mandated child/ staff ratios and all other state, federal and Accreditation regulations.
