Administrative Support:
Our dedicated administrative staff handles all scheduling, referrals, and authorizations, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care to your clients. We also ensure ethical caseload requirements for our BCBAs and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and yearly comprehensive assessments (e.g., ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, ABAS-3, caregiver interviews, behavior observations) with support from RBTs.
- Provide direct treatment as needed.
- Provide frequent supervision and direction to supervisees.
- Complete effective and prompt documentation for daily notes, assessments, individual treatment plans, and weekly progress updates.
- Participate in our mentorship network as either a mentee or mentor.
- Provide education and training for caregivers.
- Collaborate with other therapists (OT, PT, SLP, MH)
- Utilize our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to create and maintain documentation and collect and monitor data.
- Maintain an ABA caseload in our North Charlotte center.
- Work with practicum students.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following Qualifications:
- Board Certification and licensure to work in North Carolina (candidates who have completed graduate coursework and fieldwork supervision requirements are encouraged to apply)
- Master's degree
- Experience working with neurodivergent populations (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder) or those with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral support needs
- Supervisory experience with RBTs/technicians is preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills with a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to make frequent, data-driven decisions for meaningful and personalized progress.
- Effective and professional communication skills for education and training of caregivers and supervisees.

An hourly salary range of $15.48 to $17.99 is anticipated for this position.
The duties listed below are not all of the duties that may be assigned, but are those that are considered as essential for an employee to perform.
* Providing transportation assistance for mental health appointments, substance abuse counseling/treatment, medical/dental appointments, pharmacies, parenting classes, educational facilities, drug testing, seeking employment, locating housing, and other appointments as necessary. Scheduling daily needs to ensure all clients are able to attend appointments timely.
* Provision of in-home aide services (through teaching, modeling, coaching, reinforcement, and encouragement), including budgeting, housekeeping, personal hygiene, meal planning and food preparation, comparison shopping, parenting skills, behavior management, disciplinary techniques, employment seeking, and connecting with educational/vocational training.
* Provide childcare services for clients while they are in counseling sessions, support group, parenting classes, job searching, seeking housing, or other approved appointments.
* On an as-needed basis, other duties to include assisting with the crisis line calls, room cleaning, donation sorting, retrieving mail from the post office, grocery pick-up, tracking activities for monthly reporting, and attending team meetings/trainings. Additionally, staff may be asked to cover other shifts for holidays or to assist teammates.
* Graduation with a high school diploma or GED equivalency
* A valid NC Driver's License is required.
* Experience working with children and/or trauma survivors preferred.

Education and Experience:
Associate degree or two years of college coursework from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or a related field, and Two years' experience working in a social or public service environment with case management experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to perform mathematical calculations. Ability to type and keypunch information into a computer. Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically. Ability to effectively and efficiently work on multiple cases at the same time without becoming frustrated or disorganized. Ability to operate various general office equipment including a telephone, computer and adding machine. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.).Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. Work may require driving a vehicle where there may be discomforts associated with heavy traffic or changes in weather.

Contact your college advisor in advance and ask them if you can use your summer camp job as a practicum, internship or for other course credits. If KE Camps can meet your internship requirements, your on-site Camp Director will be your field supervisor and oversee your course work. You will also be connected to a KE Camps contact at our HQ in Skillman, NJ. To receive credit, you must complete the course, practicum or internship per your college's parameters and complete your summer employment.
As a Camp Counselor, you will be an active participant in all camp activities and will assist your Camp Director with a variety of daily tasks, all with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for your campers. Our Counselors interact with our campers throughout the entire day, helping them make friends, try new things, and generally caring for their well-being. The role of a Counselor is to participate, build relationships and have fun while ensuring the physical and emotional safety of every child.
