The EHS Manager will be a key player supporting the implementation and administration of the ITAC EHS Program. The EHS Manager will fully support our commitment to safety and must exemplify our Core Values. The EHS Manager will develop Industrial EHS assessments, develop of EHS policies, programs and plans, lead and coordinate safety meetings, conduct training, and facilitate incident investigations at ITAC's manufacturing, assembly and fabrication operations. The EHS Manager must effectively communicate information, lead, coach and train all levels of project employees in safety and health compliance, policies, and best practices. The EHS Manager will understand basic Industrial Hygiene and General Industry safety and health practices and collaborate with operations to assess need and implement documented practices and solutions. The EHS Manager will observe behaviors and practices, identify deficiencies and hazards, propose new policies and policy updates, and create training information. The EHS Manager, General Industry, will collaborate with operations leaders and will report directly to the ITAC EHS Director. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Embrace ITAC's Core Values in all aspects of the job. Support the success of the operations with effective EHS related services. Help create, improve, and comply with job specific SOPs and EHS policies. Be a team player and integrate into the operations group as an equal and valuable member mentor and leader. Determine an effective work schedule and conduct independently all required safety and health tasks. Perform detailed incident investigations and produce high-quality incident reports. Provide EHS related technical support and training concerning ITAC shop operations to managers and shop employees. Evaluate all shop practices, including emergency response procedures, for improvement in effectiveness and compliance as well identify any impending weaknesses or potential gaps. Enter all daily, weekly, and special training and audits into ITAC's online system and ensure OSHA compliant recordkeeping. Know how to perform detailed equipment, location, and tool inspections and ensure inspection completion as needed. Report any trends and serious reoccurring deficiencies as noted from leading indicators to the EHS Director. Communicate with other EHS Managers and Project Managers the conditions and concerns about their project. Recommend air monitoring devices and specialty devices, perform air sampling and monitoring, data logging and basic Industrial Hygiene related tasks. Develop training materials and effectively deliver training and instruction at a variety of meeting types. Strong computer aptitude, including fluency with MS Office; PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Requirements Experience/Education OSHA 30 Hour General Industry. Minimum 7 years of experience managing EHS programs in construction or general industry organizations, process, manufacturing or similar general industry organizations. At least one year of management and oversight experience for direct reports and/or management training. Advanced coursework or training in EHS subjects and college level courses and degrees. Valid Driver's License and ability to drive to project sites with company vehicles. Certifications and Training Qualifications - Preferred / Desired OSHA 500 / 501 Certification - Outreach trainer OSHA level courses related to general industry and industrial hygiene subjects Forklift and Overhead Crane certifications Machine Guarding Courses Hazardous Materials handling and Storage credentials.
