RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead and assist with the Corps Officers as needed with Corps Programs including, but not limited to:
* Salvation Army Youth Programs (S.A.Y.), Sunday School classes, Sunday Morning Worship services, fellowship times, visitation, Bible studies, outreach, young adult's ministries, After School during the week, Summer Day Camp in the Corps, Transportation, etc.,
* Provide support for and, in most cases, attend Divisional and Territorial programs related to programs involved (Youth Retreats, Summer Camps, Youth Camp, Family Camp, etc.)
* Lead the Youth Ministries and Youth Programs.
* Provide support to other Outreach Programs.
* Drive and coordinate transportation for Youth programs and events for the Corps program.
* Must be able to prepare and cook meals and snacks for Youth programs.
* Lead and coordinate fundraising events for the youth program.
* Coordinate all aspects of the program with local school leaders and teachers, including tutoring, transportation, and scheduling.
* Coordinate attendance with children's parents.
* Link those that participate in programs to seasonal and S.A.Y. programs.
* Other duties as assigned by Corps Officers.

Area Representatives are the foundation of our program and are essential to the
success of high school exchange. Representatives work at the local level
to identify school slots for students, find caring families interested in hosting, match students with families, and supervise students and families throughout the year. ASSE provides training and support to its Representatives.
This is a volunteer position although you will receive a stipend to offset the costs of recruiting host families and working with students. Representatives receive between $700 and $1050 per student successfully placed. We also offer many bonuses and incentives. On average it takes about 3 hours a month for each student you place. Most of our reps work full time jobs or are students and do this on the side.

* As a Sustainability Council member, promote the Sustainability Council and recruit new members, especially student members, to make sure all stakeholders on campus are represented.
* Interact with Faculty & Staff via social media and act as SC liaison with Nevada State Student Alliance, Nevada State Alliance for Science club, Student Life Office, and in classes and events to enhance campus engagement in sustainability topics.
* Lead student sustainability events that educate and encourage awareness and action to preserve the campus environment.
* Responsible for interacting with The Village Student Housing staff and residents to recommend environmentally-friendly practices and procedures, especially water and energy conservation.
* Serve as the liaison with the Scorpion Cafe and Garden Farms for determining and managing composting options; this will require independent research and making decisions in collaboration with the Sustainability Council for best practices for composting that will function well with the Café's menus. This includes developing the signage to educate the campus community on the best practices to compost.
* Coordinate Sustainability Council meeting schedule, email notifications, meeting minutes and work projects.
* Collect and present data for marketing and communication of Sustainability Council events by using the Scorpion Central page and coordinating with the Marketing and the Center for Diversity and Inclusion departments.
* Contribute to sustainability initiatives using promotional and educational materials by writing, editing, and designing content for campus announcements, displays, newsletters, sustainability guides, and training materials.
* Assist with special projects to advance waste minimization initiatives in collaboration with the Facilities department.

ROLE of the POSITION
Student Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a Psychological Assistant/Staff Psychologist/Senior Staff Psychologist position. CAPS is an IACS-Accredited center within the Student Wellness unit that includes the departments of Student Health Center, Care Center, Wellness Education and Health Promotion, Disability Resource Center, Military and Veteran Services, and the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, integrated service model dedicated to serving a diverse student population. This is a full-time, 12-month position.

Demonstrated experience and training in generalist counseling is required. Candidates are required to attain licensure as a Psychologist in Nevada within 14 months from the date of hire for postdoctoral candidates and 24 months from the date of hire for new doctoral graduates.
Staff Psychologist: This position requires a doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from a regionally accredited college or university. Demonstrated experience and training in generalist counseling is required. Licensure for independent practice as a psychologist is required and Nevada licensure for independent practice is required prior to the start of employment.
Senior Staff Psychologist: This position requires a doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from a regionally accredited college or university. Demonstrated experience and training in generalist counseling is required. Licensure for independent practice as a psychologist is required and Nevada licensure for independent practice is required prior to the start of employment. Additionally, candidates must have 5 years of licensed related clinical work experience as a psychologist.
Successful candidates will have strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills, experience in supervision and training, and proficiency in brief therapy and group counseling.
