For over 30 years, New Season Treatment Centers have been a leading national health care service provider of outpatient treatment centers that specialize in providing safe, quality and best in class care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder ("OUD").
Operating in over 70 treatment centers in multiple states, our team members are engaged in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management of individuals living with OUD. We treat the whole person and, in so doing, address the underlying causes of OUD in an effort to provide a continuum of care that not only addresses treatment needs but supports the patient on their journey to recovery.
Job Summary:
New Season operates a number of nationally recognized and accredited methadone treatment centers dedicated to helping individuals with prescription drug abuse and/or opiate addiction regain control of their lives.

Essential Functions:
Works with patients to complete all intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
Documents patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
Completes patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within the required time frame.
Identifies any clinical/case management needs and works to address those needs.
Performs individual, group, and family counseling as required.
Performs at least 20 hours of direct one-on-one patient contact per week through individual or group counseling.
Reports patient abuse, neglect and exploitation as required.
Reports patient grievances as required.
Educates patient in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery.
Obtains Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
Assists in monitoring all patient activities on center premises.
Actively participates in community relations activities as directed and authorized.
Ensures the reading and understanding of the Policy and Procedures Manual.
Ensures compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA)
Is responsible for obtaining or maintaining proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements.
Actively participates in preparation for surveys and inspections conducted by CARF, the State, DEA, Board of Pharmacy and any other agency site visits as dictated by the state laws or regulations.
Participates in all staff meetings
Ensures compliance with local, State, Federal and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations and policies.
Always acts in the best interests of the program and company; honors, supports, and protects the proprietary data and rights of the company.
Performs other tasks as assigned by clinic, region or corporate leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Experience in substance abuse field is not required, but preferred
Qualified candidates will have a counseling Certification in a related field (State Specific)
Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
Experience Required:
Minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse is preferred
Skill and Ability:
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be dependable and reliable
Basic mathematics skills

Attends and participates in required meetings.
Assists families or residents with discharge placement and discharge information as needed. Maintains list of community resources.
Receives complaints from residents or families investigates and reports to the Department Director.
Receives and reviews change of room requests. Notifies appropriate departments of room changes.
Refers all residents or families to the appropriate agency or resource if service cannot be met within the Facility.
Works closely with Unit Directors/RN Supervisors, administrative nursing and other Social Workers (if applicable) for input regarding admissions and room changes.
Writes correspondence as necessary following established correspondence procedures
Monitors to assure appropriate sections on MDS completed within 14 days of patient admission. Monitors through Quality Assurance monitors per calendar.
Assures that Social work progress notes and electronic assessments completed according to documentation policies.
Assures that Social Worker meets residents' social needs through scheduled periodic visits.
Assists with Family Council, providing topics for discussion, offering support, etc. May be required to conduct resident council.
Receives notification of residents on which there are notes precautions regarding a resident's precautionary condition and follows Facility procedure.
Participates in Quality Assurance committee by performing monitors and reporting to the Q.A. Committee.
Meets with Social Workers (if applicable) on a monthly basis to receive concerns, and/or suggestions to improve department. Reports concerns, solutions and suggestions to Department Director.
Encourages department in a professional manner keeping Facility objectives in focus.
Assists in providing annual services to staff.
In case of fire or fire drill
Shut off all electrical equipment.
Shut doors.
Report to Nurses Station for further instruction.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Must be a high school graduate. Must have one year of experience in the health care or long-term care field or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Summary
The recruiter/trainer will recruit, train, and license families pursuing either family, therapeutic, or IAFT foster parent licensing as well as coordinating placement of foster children in their region. The recruiter/trainer coordinates and participates in ongoing training of foster parents throughout the year including model related topics, CPR and First Aid and MAR, as well as any other training needs in their region.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Complete all preservice training in required time frames. Staff will annually complete 24 hours of training.
Responsible for recruitment of foster care referrals and developing relationships with area DSS offices and other referral sources.
Utilize agency Teaching-Family Model pre-service training model to train foster families to assess safety, family strengths.
Knowledgeable of foster care and adoptions and its impact on families and children and ensure all homes meet all licensing regulations.
Ability to understand and assist families with licensing requirements; license foster families utilizing state rules and regulations (or transfer license if applicable).
Maintain professional contact with potential or current families in training.
Maintain contact with families interested in becoming licensed as foster parents at weekly intervals or as determined by the trainer.
Complete at least two in home visits with families prior to all license transfers.
Coordinate a secondary review of all potential homes within three training sessions if necessary.
Ensure that all homes requesting to be licensed by the agency are staffed prior to license submission.
Prepare training reports and reviews in a timely, clear, and concise manner including individual training plans, progress toward licensing, and other assigned reports.
Collect and review all state and agency required documentation needed for foster parents to gain licensure and submit all documentation (to include auxiliary items not submitted to the state) to Licensing Specialist for review and submission to the state.
Participate in the planning and delivery of services regarding training, licensing, treatment, and placement.
Represent agency in variety of various settings; including attendance at relevant community forums, public presentations, etc.
Assist with providing monthly in-service training and monthly support groups with the foster families and children.
Provide case management services as needed, entering the rotation in the event of staff crisis (illness, injury, other absence) or team vacancy, when applicable.
Lead foster parent recruitment efforts in assigned region; will develop and maintain relationships with referral sources including DSS's, Mental Health Providers, and DJJ.
Meet quarterly recruitment quotas for assigned region.
Participate in clinical staff meeting and staff all families with regional staff before licensing paperwork is submitted to inform foster care staff of foster homes current skill level and of any on-going needs.
Demonstrate competency in appropriately evaluating needs of youth to assure best placement match with foster parent
Staff will attend first orientation meeting and training session with foster parent.
Annually supervisor will attend one orientation meeting and one training session per staff.

This position guides students through the entire WBL process from pre-registration through course completion, ensuring that each internship experience meets College, NCCCS Section 20, and state standards. The WBL Internship Coach collaborates closely with the Experiential Learning Director, WBL Coordinator, WBL Specialist, Career Services, faculty, and employer partners to provide a high-quality student experience aligned with the College's QEP and Vision 2030 experiential learning goals.
This is a 20-hour-per-week, part-time instructional role.
Minimum Qualifications

* At least one year of experience in higher education, workforce development, student support, advising, or related administrative/educational environments.

Essential Duties

STUDENT RECRUITMENT & PROMOTION
* Conduct classroom visits across academic divisions to promote Work-Based Learning and experiential learning opportunities.
* Recruit students during class presentations and at college and community events, in partnership with the WBL office.
* Collaborate with Career Services and program faculty to promote WBL workshops, résumé sessions, and readiness initiatives.
* Present WBL program overviews to students, faculty, staff, and industry partners as needed.
Pre-Registration & Placement Responsibilities
* Meet with students to assess career goals, readiness, and skillsets in preparation for internship placement.
* Maintain communication with industry contacts at WBL sites as needed to monitor student intern progress
* Collaborate with employers and students to finalize job descriptions and student learning objectives.
* Approve WBL Placement Forms and Agreements
* Show internship opportunities to students and coach them through the application process.
* Provide students with clear instruction regarding registration, expectations, deadlines, and WBL procedures.
INSTRUCTIONAL, SEMESTER-LONG RESPONSIBILITIES
* Serve as instructor of records for assigned WBL students.
* Send syllabus, course expectations, and orientation reminders to students.
* Verify that students complete online orientation by the census deadline.
* Enter student orientation completion in Self Service.
* Review initial feedback from students in Symplicity.
* Conduct and document required site visits with students and supervisors.
* Ensure students log required hours and maintain accurate time logs in Symplicity.
* Communicate regularly with students to provide mentoring, coaching, and workplace guidance.
* Remind students and employers of evaluation requirements and deadlines.
* Review final student evaluations, final employer evaluations, and overall internship feedback.
* Finalize attendance and submit grades in coordination with WBL Specialist/Coordinator.
* Maintain continuous engagement through the WBL Instructor Teams channel and email communication.
DATA TRACKING, DOCUMENTATION & COMPLIANCE
* Utilize strong organizational and data-tracking skills to ensure all WBL internship experiences meet College, state, and NCCCS Section 20 audit requirements.
* Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy records, including site visit notes, evaluations, time logs, and communications.
* Support WBL program audit preparation by providing documentation samples, reports, and accurate data.
* Adhere strictly to required deadlines for documentation, evaluations, site visits, and attendance verification.
* Collaborate with the WBL Specialist on reviewing incoming documentation and ensuring information is accurate, complete, and properly routed.
INDUSTRY & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
* Assist in the maintenance of employer relationships to support WBL placements.
* Engage with employers professionally, representing the College at site visits, meetings, and community events.
* Support the Coordinator and Director in strengthening experiential learning pathways with industry partners.
* Provide valuable feedback from employers and students that supports program improvement efforts.
PROGRAM SUPPORT & COLLEGE COLLABORATION
* Collaborate with Career Services to promote résumé building, interview preparation, and workplace readiness for WBL students.
* Support Experiential Learning events, presentations, schedules, meetings, and special projects as assigned.
* Contribute to program assessment, continuous improvement initiatives, and Vision 2030 experiential learning metrics.
* Build collaborative relationships with faculty, advisors, academic divisions, and workforce partners.
* Participate in team meetings, operational reviews, and internal training sessions as required.

Admissions
Memory Care Assisted Living - Primary
Coordinate all admissions into the Memory Care Assisted Living neighborhood, including communication with families, referral sources, nursing, administration, and interdisciplinary team members.
Facilitate the admission process to ensure regulatory compliance, resident safety, and smooth transition into Memory Care.
Coordinate and complete all psychosocial components of Memory Care admissions.

Monitor rehabilitation progress to support appropriate length of stay and level of care determinations.
Meet with residents and families to discuss discharge options, preferences, and post-discharge needs.
Arrange and coordinate post-discharge services, including home health therapy, durable medical equipment, transportation, and community resources.
Obtain physician orders for home health services, face-to-face documentation, and equipment as required.
Complete discharge summaries and required documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Communicate discharge plans and updates to nursing, therapy, physicians, and the care plan team.

Notify Elon Police Department of allegations that fall under the Elder Justice Act, when applicable.
Care Plan Meetings (Interdisciplinary Collaboration)
Coordinate and schedule care plan meetings in accordance with CMS requirements.
Provide written or electronic notification to residents and families regarding care plan meetings.
Encourage resident participation in care planning to the fullest extent possible.
Attend and actively participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings.

Provide families with medication lists and care summaries prior to scheduled meetings.
End-of-Life Support
Provide psychosocial and emotional support to residents and families at end of life.
Assist families with immediate needs following a resident's death and coordinate with nursing and administration.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
Current state licensure or eligibility as required.
