JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: As a Peer Tutor, you will: * Hold weekly tutoring hours in the TLC for courses you are approved to tutor (minimum of 7 hours per week). * Tutor at least 2-3 freshman-level courses. * Collaborate with course coordinators to ensure clear and consistent communication with students. * Attend monthly meetings with the TLC Administration and bi-weekly (or as needed) meetings with course coordinators. Expected Commitment: * Active Tutoring: 7-10 hours per week in the TLC. * Meetings: 1-2 hours every 2 weeks for meetings. * Additional Duties: Up to 1 hour of professional development (e.g., creating handouts, attending training) and up to 30 minutes of preparation time per week.
