Job Title: Resident Counselor/Direct Care Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the Resident Counselor is to provide direct support and skill building to people diagnosed with mental illness at the Enriched Living Center, a 52-bed OMH-certified residence. Essential Job Functions Interact with the residents as frequently as possible in order to build trust and rapport. Promote, model and teach acceptable social behaviors to the residents. Monitor the security camera system to maintain a safe environment. Teach the residents with: personal hygiene, laundering, and social skills.
