Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced luxury retail or fine jewelry sales associate to join our Trunk Show Program. This position requires client-facing/clienteling comfort, creativity, and an interest in fashion and design. A Trunk Show Manager is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and booking of all aspects of their assigned trunk show territory while acting as the sales liaison between our clients and our production team to create custom pieces, heirloom reworks, engagement rings, and line collections. They are also responsible for providing an exceptional, elevated level of service focused on driving sales results and building strong, lasting client relationships. This role requires approximately twenty weekends of travel annually, Friday through Monday across major US markets in luxury hotels.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
Achieve or exceed territory sales goals

Manage sales cycle from qualifying through project delivery
Work with the marketing team to drive traffic to trunk shows

Follow all company procedures, including POS transactions, packaging standards, and loss-prevention practices.

Assist Management Team in ensuring all health and sanitation standards are met (especially in areas where pets may interact with products).
Maintain that the store atmosphere consistently reflects a premium, welcoming experience.

With Management Team, ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of all areas.
Ensure high-value or limited-edition items are logged and secured immediately upon receipt. Oversee proper tagging, labeling, and secure storage of high-value merchandise.
Process incoming returns or exchanges accurately and according to policy.
Communicate with clients about return status and any adjustments or credits issued.
Verify that supply deliveries match order quantities and quality standards.

Qualifications:

* Perform behind-the-chair services such as assisting in finishing services and shampooing and conditioning services, styling, blowouts, hot tool styling, treatment and toner services, and add on product application per guest request.
* Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and other key performance indicators, including but not limited to: retail sales, services, memberships.
* Ensure Hair Color Bar meets company standards as it relates to cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, company asset security.
* Adhere to protocols regarding Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
* Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through increasing the average service ticket through additional services, sales of unlimited roots memberships, subscriptions, home hair care and more.
* Take a proactive approach by demonstrating the willingness to learn and complete the Assistant
* Colorist to Colorist Training including mastering color theory and developing behind the chair application skills to grow your career within Madison Reed

Qualifications:
* Active cosmetology license in the state in which you are applying.
* Entry level experience in any customer service or retail sales environment; salon or beauty industry experience preferred.
* Effective communication, strong problem solving and people skills, in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
* Comfortable operating point of sale systems
* Fluency in English
