Maintains responsibility for coordinating and facilitating day-to-day operations between vendors supporting the Care Connect Retailer Marketing Communications Platform and Subaru of America (SOA). Primary Responsibilities

Coordinates vendor sync calls and provides meeting notes/takeaways.
Coordinates with program vendors, Retail Relationship Creative Specialist, and Retail Relationship Marketing Manager to ensure that creative and engineering projects are completed on time and within determined budget.
Program Features and Enhancements:
Monitors Care Connect program performance and retailer/customer experience, working with program vendor and cross-functional internal stakeholders (including Fixed Operations, Legal, and Information Technology [IT]) to identify and implement new features and enhancements.
Acts as project lead overseeing business requirements, data integrations, launch plans, and maintaining initiatives post launch.
Provides guidance to and holds program vendors, contractors, and internal partners accountable for meeting requirements and deadlines.
Reviews all program-related quotes for accuracy prior to management approval.
Field and Retailer Training and Education:
Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on the Care Connect program for the Retail Relationship Marketing team, which includes the following responsibilities:
Develops best practice/informational training resources for the Field and retailers on tools and processes.
Develops the training schedule, approves curriculum, and oversees vendor execution (including attending retailer production shoots for material) with the Retail Relationship Marketing Manager.
Creates engaging content and presents at national conferences and Field meetings; conferences and meetings include National Business Conference (NBC), National Training Conference (NTC), National Retail Advisory Board (NRAB), and executive meetings.
Program Analytics Management:
Coordinates analytical projects; serves as day-to-day point of contact to vendors to ensure that actionable results are delivered that may be utilized by the business, stakeholders, and SOA retailers.
Continuously monitors program metrics and usage to identify successes and improvement opportunities; reports findings to upper management and Field as necessary.
Program Vendor Integration:
Provides oversight of the various data and content integrations between SOA and the Care Connect program vendors.
Coordinates with SOA IT on document management system (DMS) integrations to ensure that vendor integrations align with SOA data governance guidelines.
Maintains map of vendor integrations and data flow between retailers, vendors, and SOA.
Assists the Retail Relationship Marketing Manager with the development and management of the Care Connect trade show exhibit for NBC. This includes building the exhibit, coordinating with the Retail Relationship Creative Specialist on booth layout and design of the booth materials, sourcing promotional items, and directing the vendor field staff on site as applicable.
Additional Responsibilities
Assists the Retail Relationship Marketing Manager in ad-hoc marketing projects or needs, including special presentations and reports.
Serves as a retailer advocate by understanding that the primary customer is the retailer by focusing on their best interest in order to mitigate risk and create a positive program experience. Periodically travels to meet with retailers to gather feedback on programs.
Supports the department in the training of internal and external partners, new team members, and Regional Management Associates.

Job Description
This is a full-time position, requiring the candidate to work in-house, with work hours Monday through Friday - 8:00am through 5:00pm. They will be tasked to work under the supervision and direction of our Marketing Director & Senior Website Manager, creating new website pages, uploading blog content, making edits and revisions to existing website pages and content within.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Sonoma Raceway is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Social & Digital Marketing Intern to join our Marketing & Communications team this summer. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in social media management, live event coverage, digital content creation, and event marketing within a fast-paced motorsports environment. The intern will work closely with the marketing team to support the planning, execution, and promotion of major race weekends and other special events at the track. This position offers an ideal opportunity for college students or recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in sports marketing, event management, or public relations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Social & Digital Marketing Manager with day-to-day management of Sonoma Raceway's social media platforms.
Generate daily digital content, including photos, videos, reels, graphics, and written copy.
Support live social media coverage during major events such as NASCAR and NHRA race weekends.
Help manage and maintain the social media posting schedule and content calendar.
Research and identify human-interest stories, motorsports narratives, and engaging fan moments to feature across platforms.
Monitor and leverage relevant hashtags, trending topics, and social moments to enhance reach and engagement.
Communicate with followers, respond to questions, and actively monitor fan conversations online.
Assist with researching, identifying, and conducting outreach to potential influencers and content creators for Sonoma Raceway's influencer program.
Suggest creative ideas and strategies to attract new fan engagement, including campaigns, incentives, and interactive content.
Support analytics efforts by compiling performance insights and social media reports.
Help manage promotional texting campaigns , including scheduling and copywriting.
Assist in monitoring the website chat bot , ensuring accurate responses and escalating fan questions when needed.
Assist in monitoring the Sonoma Raceway app , including content updates and fan communication.
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute new digital content initiatives.
Support other departments as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Sport Management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms and digital best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
Comfortable interacting with fans, partners, and influencers in a professional manner.
High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Basic understanding of social media marketing, photo/video creation, and editing.
Must be polite, courteous, and treat all consumers respectfully regardless of the situation while treating the company assets with care at all times.
Must be available to work event days, evenings, and weekends as needed, including key event dates.
Must be available March 27-29, May 29-31, June 26-28, July 17-19 and July 25.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience with social media scheduling or analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design/photo editing software.
Photography and videography experience.
