Serves as a key contributor to the success of Subaru's Connected Vehicle (CV) programs. Ensures operational readiness for MySubaru, Admin Portal, and telematics enhancements across internal departments, external partners, call centers, and retailers by proactively coordinating communications, training, and process improvements for in-operation telematics customers. Acting as the primary liaison to customer call centers, oversees their readiness and field adherence to operational processes and monitors critical workflows. Additionally, by collecting and reporting on Voice of Customer (VOC) insights, informs operational strategies and drives continuous improvement. Success in this role requires strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to build relationships across professional levels, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a collaborative approach to problem solving in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Communication and Stakeholder Collaboration:
Acts as the primary point of contact for customer call centers regarding telematics and connected vehicle (CV) in-operation technologies and processes. Understands which information must be conveyed and how to convey it.
Develops and maintains productive and collaborative working relationships with teams across the company to support in-operation telematics training.
Collects and reports on Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback to inform operational strategies and improve service delivery.
Creates and delivers post-sale training materials for customer-facing teams on in-operation changes and updates to Admin Portal, MySubaru mobile, and web-based applications and ensures messaging alignment with CV Marketing.
Coordinates and facilitates cross-functional meetings with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors to maintain consistent flow of communications.
Operational Excellence:
Oversees customer call centers' readiness including training, process updates, and issue resolution.
Supports retailer readiness for operational processes once the customer has taken ownership and has their telematics subscription, including training, process updates, and issue resolution. • Monitors and manages the subscription refund process, ensuring timely resolution and reporting of refund-related issues. Tracks and communicates system updates, including MySubaru, Admin Portal, and telematics enhancements releases.
Assists in issue tracking and resolution for CV platforms that generate through our call center agents or field teams (e.g., head unit [HU] issues, feature alignment). Uses subject matter knowledge to determine appropriate stakeholders and communicate the issue accurately.
Departmental Support:
Coordinates and hosts regular meetings with field teams, vendor partners, or internal groups to provide training on new features or changes rolling out in market.
Maintains documentation related to operational readiness, process changes, and system enhancements.
Collaborates with internal teams to ensure alignment on CV initiatives and readiness milestones.

What You'll Do
This 12-week Operationsinternship will be based in a GM Automotive Parts warehouse and drives the operational efforts of GM's Customer Care and Aftersales organization. The position supervises a team of union-represented operations employees, or a departmental function in a warehouse processing center or distribution center. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the department workforce to ensure accurate and timely parts shipments to customers.
With direct guidance from the General Supervisor, you will motivate hourly operations employees and business partners through effective communication, training, coaching, development, recognition, and supervision. You will demonstrate expertise of the processes your team is required to perform and ensure your team members are effectively performing job responsibilities utilizing standardized methods.
Additional responsibilities include:
Provide instructions to direct reports on course of action and serves as a resource for them on standardized work, quality standards and processes within the area, as well as relevant company policies and procedures.
Addresses and resolves any issues faced by team members, proactively mitigates conflicts to prevent escalation, and assigns tasks while closely monitoring progress at regular intervals.
Proactively anticipates needs of the areas managed, by consistently training and rotating team members to ensure that there is no disruption in the execution of work.
Identifies opportunities for improvement using tools such as layered audits
Achieves Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, and Cost key performance indicators
Cultivates, implements, and enforces a safety culture grounded in workplace safety rules & policies
Implements GMS and lean principles
Models GM's cultural behaviors & demonstrates the highest level of integrity at all times
Effectively communicates and maintains good working relationships with employees, union representatives, and management team
Evaluates team performance, and promotes continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:
Pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, or related degree from an accredited college or university
Must be graduating between Spring 2027- Spring 2028
Able to work full time, 40 hours per week

Basic Qualifications

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Manage account relationships, maintain effective communications and ensuring customer requirements are met.
* Review and update condition report; approve and audit vehicle repair report.
* Walk vehicles to make recommendations for reconditioning to increase vehicle value.
* Provide quality service and assist in resolving problems. Respond to customer inquiries relating to vehicles.
* Communicate with Lot Operations and Recon departments to ensure appropriate movement of vehicles to the shops and ensure timely completion of reconditioning.
* In coordination with account representative, account administrator, and account specific procedures prepare sale vehicle presentation and verify certification/announcements.
* Work with lot operations for organization of account vehicles.
* Review vehicles in sale line up, locate missing vehicles, and work with account representative to ensure vehicles are ready for sale.
* Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
* Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
* High School Diploma/GED.
* Generally, less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
* Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
* Verbal and written communication skills required.
* Knowledge of how to operate PC software applications (i.e., MS Office, Excel, and Outlook).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented with good data entry and analytical abilities.
* Problem-solving and organizational skills.
Work Environment:
* This is an outdoor role, meaning exposure to weather elements is to be expected every day. The candidate chosen for this role will need to dress appropriately for the weather daily.

Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
* Orient and instruct new drivers regarding their job duties and assist supervisor in assigning and directing the work of employees.
* Communicate with supervisor or manager to assure proper flow of vehicles and maintain log of stock numbers for each vehicle moved and its lot location.
* Communicate schedules and assignments to the crew members.
* Manage vans and transport drivers to locations. Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of employees and vehicles by transporting them according to schedule to their proper work destinations.
* Shuttle employees to and from auxiliary parking lots on sale days; provide transportation to employees parking inventoried vehicles at remote sites.
* Pick-up and drop-off employees and other Auction personnel to/from the Auction, parking lots, dealerships, customer locations/businesses, and other locations.
* Perform daily maintenance and routine checks of the van and clean and service the vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
* Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Work in cooperation with Market Safety Manager in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
* Work with manager to review work volumes, plan and continuously monitor staffing levels to ensure efficiency, quality work product, and effective customer service; review departmental performance against key performance indicators and metrics and develop and execute strategies for improvement.
* Effectively leads the team at the location by setting an example in behavior, championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.
* Enforce all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.
