Serving children, teens, and families in our community since 2018.
THE PRACTICE
Resilient Kids is an outpatient group private practice intentionally designed to support clinicians in delivering high-quality, relationship-driven care.
Founded by therapists, our model prioritizes thoughtful systems, strong clinical support, and long-term sustainability so therapy isnt rushed, transactional, or burned out.
This is not community mental health.
This is not inpatient or high-acuity care.
This is not a medical-model clinic.
It is a stable, clinician-centered clinical home with room to grow.
THE CLINICAL WORK YOULL LOVE
Youll provide meaningful, transformative therapy for children, teens, and families the work that reminded you why you chose this profession.
You choose how you practice. We support the approach that fits you best:
Traditional office-based outpatient therapy
Walk-and-talk sessions in calming outdoor spaces
Play therapy and art-based interventions
Family systems and attachment-focused care
Optional certification in eco-therapy, gardening-based therapy, equine-assisted therapy or small farm animal-assisted work through our therapeutic farm setting
We dont force clinicians into one model. We build roles around how you do your best work.
Youll collaborate with a skilled, supportive team that shares cases, celebrates breakthroughs, and works through complex clinical situations together.
A SPACE THAT FEELS LIKE HOME
Our offices are intentionally designed to feel warm, calm, and welcoming more like a home than a clinic.
Families feel comfortable. Kids feel safe. Clinicians dont feel like theyre working in a medical environment.
MULTIPLE LOCATIONS & CONTINUED GROWTH
Our practice currently operates across two established locations in Middletown:
A traditional outpatient office designed to feel home-like and calming
A therapeutic farm setting offering nature-based, eco-therapy, gardening, and animal-assisted interventions
We are also actively building a third traditional office location in downtown Middletown, reflecting both our growth and our long-term commitment to serving families in this community.
CLINICAL SUPPORT THAT ACTUALLY REDUCES YOUR WORKLOAD
We use an advanced, clinician-designed clinical support system that significantly outperforms standard AI notetakers.
This system:
Assists with high-quality, audit-aware documentation that dramatically reduces time spent on notes
Automatically sends, scores, and organizes clinical assessments
Supports delivery of homework assignments and therapeutic worksheets aligned with treatment goals
Our administrative team also:
Completes releases and gathers records

Handles intake scheduling, billing, insurance, and follow-up
You focus on therapy. We handle the rest.
COMPENSATION DESIGNED TO PROTECT CLINICIANS

Unlike most 1099 models:
You are paid consistently, regardless of claim processing delays
You are paid for no-shows and late cancellations
You are not waiting 60+ days for insurance reimbursement
This structure offers the flexibility of 1099 work with the financial predictability clinicians need.
Compensation:
$60/hour base rate
$66/hour productivity bonus at 51+ billable hours per pay period
$3,000 sign-on bonus ($1,500 at 90 days, $1,500 at 6 months)
What this looks like in practice:
25 hours/week $72,000/year
30 hours/week $88,000/year
35 hours/week $104,000/year
Plus CEU reimbursement and support for specialty certifications.
CASELOAD GROWTH WITHOUT HUSTLING
We have a long-standing reputation in the community and a substantial waitlist of families specifically seeking child, teen, and family therapists.
Clinicians who want a 2025 hour caseload are often able to reach it within their first month, depending on their availability and preferences.
ROOM TO GROW BEYOND DIRECT CLIENT CARE
This role is not limited to back-to-back sessions forever unless thats what you want.
As part of our clinician-centered model, there are opportunities to diversify and grow your role over time, including:
Clinical supervision and mentoring
Program development (groups, specialty tracks, workshops)
Leading trainings or internal education
Documentation auditing and clinical quality support
Grant writing and community-based initiatives
We believe strong clinicians should have pathways to expand their impact without burning out.
WERE LOOKING FOR CLINICIANS WHO
Have experience and love working with children, teens, and families
Think systemically and value attachment-informed care
Take pride in clinical quality, integrity, and growth
Want a long-term clinical home not just a stop along the way
Must have: Independent Delaware license (LPCMH, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD)
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our interview process is intentionally designed to support mutual clarity and confidence so you can decide whether this truly feels like the right clinical home for you.
Brief application (about 10 minutes)
Phone conversation to explore mutual fit transparency is one of our core values, and we encourage you to ask any questions that matter to you about the role, support, and culture
A thoughtful clinical conversation focused on how you think, work, and want to grow with the opportunity to meet our Clinical Director and one of our clinicians
