We are hiring students for spring semester to serve as Crossing Guards at the ECC Monday thru Friday during the Early Childhood Center's arrival and dismissal times. A portion of the shift will be outdoors, so appropriately dressing for the weather is a must! Tasks & Responsibilities: * Applicants must commit to the full Spring semester * Successful completion of FBI/BCI Background Check (paid for by the program) * Completion of medical exam (through the student health center) * Complete the provided training (January) * Attend every assigned shift * Assist ECC families by ensuring a safe crosswalk during arrival and departure times * Assist with small ECC projects, as time allows Qualifications: * Excellent communication skills * Time management skills * Unwavering commitment to attendance * Passion for working with children and fostering a positive environment * Federal Work Study Recipient (preferred, not required) Potential Future Career Benefit: The ECC Crossing Guard program provides a fulfilling experience for students interested in any field that requires interacting with the public by enhancing communication and interpersonal skills.
