This is a clinical position that involves overseeing the clinical functions of a Community Crisis Home (CCH) and/or Enhance Behavior Support Home (EBSH). The QBMP oversees the implementation of the Individual Behavior Support Plan (IBSP) and reviews data on a weekly/monthly basis. This includes but is not limited to conducting a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA), reviewing proactive and reactive strategies/interventions. Also, providing direct clinical supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Lead RBTs. The QBMP assists the BCBA Director with education and training of the home. The QBMP will interface with the Residential Administrator, Administrator of the home, Regional Center staff, Department of Developmental Services, and the Quality Assurance Specialist associated within the home to ensure the needs of the individuals YAI supports. QBMP is responsible for ensuring that all data is collected and to ensure the work performed by the RBTs and Lead RBTs meets agency standards. The QBMP is involved in the development of the RBTs and Lead RBTs as well as providing feedback for clinical performance evaluations. Job Description: Oversee the implementation of the IBSP and collaborate with the Administrator. Responsible for working directly with the RBTs and Lead RBTs and providing supervision as per BACB guidelines. Will model the approach that emphasizes positive behavior supports, person-centered practices and trauma-informed care in their practice. Utilize best practices when conducting FBA and developing IBSPs. Use objectives to plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions. Employs an array of empirically validate teaching strategies- modeling, incidental teaching, task analysis, chaining, and activity-embedded instructions. Incorporates a variety of techniques to help with skill building- prompting, errorless teaching, maximizing learning opportunities, effective reinforcement, preference assessment and choice procedures. Employ a wide range of strategies for skill acquisition and skill generalization over time and across people, settings, situations, and activities. Completes annual clinical Performance Evaluations. Meets regularly for supervision with the RBTs and Lead RBTs and provide weekly/monthly updates on the IBSP. Responsible for interfacing with the BCBA Director to ensure the clinical needs of the home are being addressed. Will attend and participate in the weekly/monthly clinical review. The QMP is responsible for contributing to the agenda and provide training as necessary. Will assume the clinical responsibilities of Lead RBT in their absence. Delegates and/or assume the clinical responsibilities of any Lead RBT vacancies. Take an active role in interviewing and hiring process of any RBT and Lead RBT. Provides opportunities and encourages the professional development of staff within the home. Will, in conjunction with the Residential Administrator evaluate and assign caseloads to the RBT and Lead RBTs within the home. Will collaborate with the BCBA Director in the development of training programs for new and existing RBTs and Lead RBTs. Will ensure that the RBTs and Lead RBTs have all the clinical materials necessary to perform their job. Will take an active role in clinical consultations. Will attend outside conferences and trainings to increase knowledge base to provide a resource to the agency/department. Will interface with RN's and other outside consultants to coordinate training and to provide the opportunity for joint meetings when appropriate. NCSH provides a gender-responsive and trauma-informed environment, using evidence-based and best practices that recognize and account for the role that trauma frequently plays in substance use and criminal histories of women. For clients with co-occurring mental illness, we provide integrated substance use and mental health services which treat both conditions as primary. Our residential facility serves up to 120 women (with capacity for up to 20 children under 5 years of age) seeking recovery from substance use disorders. The SUD Counselor III is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team that supports our clients through assessment of their needs and strengths in support of their health and recovery. SUD Counselor III will perform counseling in individual and group setting, deliver curricula in accordance with program specific requirements and case management, and assist clients in navigating systems of care while providing a supportive treatment environment. What You Will Do to Change Lives The Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist provides direct members served community support and case management services to assigned members served using Psychiatric Rehabilitation principles, Recovery Philosophy, and Evidence-Based practices. This position provides education and support to members served and their families. S/he coordinates service needs and collaborates with other services and agencies such as the Conservator's Office, Public Defender's Office, Child and adult Protective Services, Probation Department, and Inpatient Services, Long Term Care Services, Residential Settings and County Mental Health Services. Job Description Summary: Crisis Intervention Specialist will respond to crisis calls that are assigned by the Supervisor of CRT to perform wellness checks, address behavioral needs, facilitate access to immediate care, and link a client experiencing crisis to the appropriate resources. Essential Functions: Performs wellness checks by working closely with Property Management and/or Security while accessing a client's unit. Refers clients to appropriate internal and external resources. Serves as a resource to clients by being visible in the milieu. Builds relationship with clients in order to strengthen the community and to create trust between clients and staff. Communicates concerns to program leadership. Upholds the CREED: Compassion, Respect, Empathy, Empowerment, Dignity while assisting clients who are experiencing crisis. Participates in the Multidisciplinary Approach to Services (MAS) meetings. On-time completion of assigned training and policies. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School graduate or GED completion. At least one year of experience with underserved populations in social service setting. Knowledge of assessment, risk assessment, crisis management, and conflict resolution.
