- Ensures client wake-up and bedtime, escorts residents on shopping trips, recreation, meetings, medical appointments, etc.

- Randomly inspects all rooms, common areas, hallways and bathrooms every thirty minutes and performs a thorough search for contraband, no less than weekly.

For clients with co-occurring mental illness, we provide integrated substance use and mental health services which treat both conditions as primary. The SUD Counselor III is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team that supports our clients through assessment of their needs and strengths in support of their health and recovery. SUD Counselor III will perform counseling in individual and group setting, deliver curricula in accordance with program specific requirements and case management, and assist clients in navigating systems of care while providing a supportive treatment environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Treatment Setting:
Maintain an assigned caseload of up to 25 clients, depending on the program staffing pattern and business needs, and provide individualized weekly counseling.
Facilitate group counseling sessions and community meetings.
Proactively link clients to both internal and external resources based on their treatment needs.
Teach classes on treatment-related topics to assist clients in meeting their treatment goals.
