Assist teachers with lesson planning, lesson modeling, classroom management, and behavior management. Keep informed of and comply with federal, state, district, and school regulations and policies for special education. Training and Staff Development Identify professional development needs, develop and present training, and coach campus personnel to continually develop and enhance behavioral and instructional practices. Provide behavior management training for parents as needed. Pursue continuous improvement and growth in knowledge of behavior intervention strategies, methodologies, and analysis. Other Consult with district and outside resources regarding education, social, medical, and personal needs of students. Engage parents regarding opportunities and expectations of club members, as well as general club participation. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with staff on special events and facilitate programs in any department when needed. Must participate in the Safe Passages Program Pick-Up Program as needed. Complete any required or mandated trainings and/or professional development Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required.
