The Male Community Reentry Program (MCRP) is a residential facility with a capacity of 200 beds, designed for adult males who have less than two years remaining on their prison sentences. Instead of being incarcerated in a state prison, eligible individuals can complete the remainder of their sentences in the community through MCRP. The program offers a variety of rehabilitative services focused on substance use disorder (SUD), mental health care, primary care, employment, education, housing, family reunification, and social support. Treatment for substance use disorders and mental health issues provided by MCRP typically lasts from 6 to 12 months, ensuring comprehensive support for participants. The Intake Coordinator I conducts the initial evaluation of potential clients to assess their requirements for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services, completes admission paperwork, and creates the initial Treatment Plan. They ensure a smooth transition for clients to their treatment team, ensuring that new clients are stabilized, and immediate needs are met. The Intake Coordinator I collaborates closely with counselors, case managers, therapists, and other team members to organize and oversee client concerns, make necessary referrals, and offer educational support. This is a union position. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assessment and Client Care Welcome clients to the program and ensure high-quality customer service is provided. Facilitate admissions and discharges.
