All of the women that are enrolled in the program are on State parole and usually have extensive histories with the criminal justice system. Some of the women have co-occuring disorders that are managed by prescribed medications and individual therapy. The program is very fast paced and is a very structured environment. The Male Community Reentry Program (MCRP) is a residential facility with a capacity of 200 beds, designed for adult males who have less than two years remaining on their prison sentences. Instead of being incarcerated in a state prison, eligible individuals can complete the remainder of their sentences in the community through MCRP. The program offers a variety of rehabilitative services focused on substance use disorder (SUD), mental health care, primary care, employment, education, housing, family reunification, and social support. Treatment for substance use disorders and mental health issues provided by MCRP typically lasts from 6 to 12 months, ensuring comprehensive support for participants. The Intake Coordinator I conducts the initial evaluation of potential clients to assess their requirements for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services, completes admission paperwork, and creates the initial Treatment Plan. They ensure a smooth transition for clients to their treatment team, ensuring that new clients are stabilized, and immediate needs are met. The Intake Coordinator I collaborates closely with counselors, case managers, therapists, and other team members to organize and oversee client concerns, make necessary referrals, and offer educational support. Contact your college advisor in advance and ask them if you can use your summer camp job as a practicum, internship or for other course credits. If KE Camps can meet your internship requirements, your on-site Camp Director will be your field supervisor and oversee your course work. You will also be connected to a KE Camps contact at our HQ in Skillman, NJ. To receive credit, you must complete the course, practicum or internship per your college's parameters and complete your summer employment. As a Camp Counselor, you will be an active participant in all camp activities and will assist your Camp Director with a variety of daily tasks, all with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for your campers. Our Counselors interact with our campers throughout the entire day, helping them make friends, try new things, and generally caring for their well-being. The role of a Counselor is to participate, build relationships and have fun while ensuring the physical and emotional safety of every child. This is a hands-on leadership experience in which you will engage in active decision-making, behavior management, and team development. Our camp is located at Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, CA. Camp will run Monday-Friday from June 15 through July 31 - staff members must be available to work the full camp season.
