This position is not eligible for remote work and will work on site. This is a year-round teaching position and is not seasonal.

1) Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Elementary Education or Special Education.
2) Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Secondary Education in the area of English, Math, Reading, Science, or Social Studies

4) Bachelor's Degree (or higher) with 15 combined semester credits in English, Math, Reading, Science, or Social Studies.

Required Qualifications
Hold a B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
All Rocketship teachers must have a valid Lifetime License, Provisional License or Charter School License in the appropriate K-9 or Birth-3rd Endorsement OR the individual must be eligible to obtain a 1 Year License with Stipulations and enroll in an accredited credentialing program during their first year at Rocketship.

Position Summary
As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for the creation of a positive, warm, individualized, nurturing environment for children, which encourages inquiry and open-ended thought. Teachers in our program ensure that children are consistently treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Teachers also promote, administer, and improve the JCC's mission statement and goals in functions including program development, compliance with licensing standards, as well as supervision and implementation of the program in accordance with the policies and philosophy of the JCC.
