Details:
In-Person Tutoring in San Bernardino, CA
Schedule: 2 sessions a week for 2 hours

Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with students on the autism spectrum (required)

Key Responsibilities:
Provide structured, individualized academic support across subjects, with an emphasis on:

JOB SUMMARY
Successful candidates will provide high-quality supervision and mentoring to student teachers and intern teachers. APPOINTMENT DATE AND ACADEMIC CALENDAR
The need for part-time faculty is greatest in Fall and Spring semesters. The Fall term begins in the late August and ends in mid-December; the Spring term runs from the middle of January through the end of May. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
Regular performance evaluations of part-time lecturers are made by the department in accord with the faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement and University Policy Statement 210.070. These performance evaluations determine which lecturers will be retained for future and continued teaching assignments. And in some instances, syllabi, assignments and reading material will be reviewed by the departmental personnel committee.
APPOINTMENT AND SALARY
All part-time faculty appointments are made as Lecturers, under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CSU system and the California Faculty Association. Initial appointments are for one semester only.
Classification Range: $5,507 - $6,677 per month (on a full-time basis)
Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $6,221 per month
The full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries indicated above are prorated to the number of units worked and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester. For a three-unit assignment, typical starting compensation ranges from $6,608.40 to $7,465.20 per semester.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Develop and teach the daily curriculum for English, Math, Science, and History to students in grades 612 with emotional disability or other health impairments.
Complete 30-Day, Annual, and Tri-Annual IEPs, including assessments, goal development, and progress reports, in collaboration with the university/district supervisor.
Complete all IEP documentation, monitor and manage IEP timelines to ensure compliance, and actively participate in IEP meetings with school districts as a collaborative team member.
Teach during the Extended School Year (ESY), a program providing additional instruction outside the regular school year, to support students with credit recovery and continued academic progress.
Collaborate with Behavioral and Educational Support Specialists and multidisciplinary teams (therapists, nurses, administrators, caregivers, and classroom staff) to provide academic, behavioral, and therapeutic interventions for students.
Maintain and actively reinforce the schools reward program to promote and encourage positive student behavior.
Respond to student crises as needed, using de-escalation strategies and, when necessary, physical intervention as a last resort to ensure student safety.
Complete and document daily Medi-Cal progress notes to track services provided to youth, ensuring compliance with billing and electronic health record requirements.
Engage caregivers and students treatment team in discussions about student growth and education involvement.
Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive classroom that supports and reinforces the schools therapeutic program.
Responsible for all standardized academic and statewide assessments
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise students across all school settings, including breaks and lunch, as assigned
Attend all required meetings, supervision sessions, and professional development trainings.

APPOINTMENT DATE AND ACADEMIC CALENDAR
The need for part-time faculty is greatest in Fall and Spring semesters. The Fall term begins in the late August and ends in mid-December; the Spring term runs from the middle of January through the end of May. On rare occasions part-time faculty are needed during one of the Summer Session segments.
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
Regular performance evaluations of part-time lecturers are made by the department in accord with the faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement and University Policy Statement 210.070. These performance evaluations determine which lecturers will be retained for future and continued teaching assignments. And in some instances, syllabi, assignments and reading material will be reviewed by the departmental personnel committee.
APPOINTMENT AND SALARY
All part-time faculty appointments are made as Lecturers, under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CSU system and the California Faculty Association. Initial appointments are for one semester only.
Classification Range: $5,507 - $6,677 per month
Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $6,221 per month
The full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries indicated above are prorated to the number of units worked and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester. For a three-unit assignment, typical starting compensation ranges from $6,608.40 to $7,465.20 per semester.

Details:
In-Person Tutoring in Diamond Bar, CA
Schedule: 10 hours, 1 session for 2 hour sessions
Pay range is between $25 and $35
Ideal Candidate:
Credentialed teacher with experience in elementary education and special education.
Fluent in Mandarin and English to support communication with the student and family.
Skilled in writing instruction (language and conventions, organization, traits), reading fluency and comprehension, and social-emotional learning (SEL).
Experienced in designing structured, personalized lesson plans that engage students and address individual learning goals.
Patient, flexible, and able to maintain a structured yet motivating learning environment.
Familiar with working alongside ABA or other therapeutic supports is preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to provide progress updates to parents.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized, structured instruction in writing, reading fluency and comprehension, and SEL.
Design lessons that integrate the student's interests, such as trucks, robotics, Lego, and planets, to maintain engagement.
Collaborate with parents and coordinate learning goals, providing updates in both Mandarin and English.
