What we are looking for:
A Teacher to provide temporary coverage in the classroom teaching all academic subjects at the kindergarten through 12th grade level to a group of 9 - 12 students. Responsible for classroom behavior management including therapeutic interventions.

Required Certifications/Licenses:
All substitute teachers are required to have a valid teaching credential or a Wisconsin 3 year substitute teacher permit.
To qualify for a 3-year substitute teacher permit, an applicant must have earned a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree and be hired by a district.
Successful completion of the Substitute Training Workshop is required to obtain the 3 Year substitute teacher permit. CESA I offers a two-day workshop or the district offers an online workshop.
Willing to work in a Virtual or Remote environment. Training will be offered virtual and modules.
It is the responsibility of the substitute to ensure that all credentials are current.
Position Purpose:
The job involves instruction, supervision, and training of individuals or groups of students with a wide variety of needs in a regular and/or special education setting.

This position is a substitute positions as a teacher’s aide or a teacher in our Lower School and our Early Childhood Education Center also known as the Maternelle (Grade PK to 5th). The position will begin as soon as possible and will last as long as you are available. Your role will be to cover for faculty absences and you will be working in several grades across the school.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Appropriately supervise children while keeping them safe at all times
● Assist the teachers and assistants in the organizational and material aspects of the class
● Lead the work of some student group activities
● Support the teachers' pedagogical methods and comply with the school philosophy
● Read the lesson plan made by the teacher and master the goals and directions before taking charge of a group of students
● Facilitates the well-being and attention of the students to learn, watches over their physical and emotional safety ● Prepare the necessary materials for the students' arrival each morning and for various group activities and projects
