In case of an emergency when plans are not provided, the principal should be made aware of the situation. All substitute teachers will be given a copy of the school's guidelines during orientation. These guidelines shall contain, but shall not be limited to: o Attendance procedures o Announcements o Bell Schedules o Lunchroom schedule and procedures o Procedures for supervising students o Important phone numbers and email addresses of principals o Safety and Critical Incident Plan o Student Illness/Medication Procedures o Dress Code o Other helpful information particular to Grace Christian Academy Substitute Teachers shall also assume duties and responsibilities such as playground supervision. Each year, students in our afterschool programs take the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) Assessment to determine their academic strengths and needs. Emerald Youth strives to meet students' learning needs and help address learning gaps. This past school year, many of our students who were paired with tutors achieved greater academic growth, which is why we need you! While with their tutor, students would be able to work on specific reading and math skills with resources and content catered to their individual levels. This individualized instruction has great potential to help students make significant progress towards their learning goals and close the learning gap, helping them have the skills to be more successful and empowered. If hired, where would I work? Tutors would be placed at one of EYs JustLead program sites. While with their tutor, students would be able to work on specific reading and math skills with resources and content catered to their individual levels. If hired, where would I work? Tutors would be placed at one of EY's JustLead program sites.
