Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Follow the lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher to facilitate daily instruction.

Communicate effectively with scholars and staff, using age-appropriate language and classroom management strategies.

Adjust instruction as needed to meet the needs of all learners while staying aligned with lesson objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:

Primary Purpose:
The teacher's job is to assure that all students learn the basic and essential skills at each grade level. Teachers will assist students in equipping them with the skills needed for post secondary opportunities.

Take necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities.
Share responsibility during the school day for the supervision of students in all areas of the school.
Provide for the supervision of assigned students when circumstances require a brief absence from the assignment.
Uphold and enforce board policy, administrative procedures, and school rules, regulations, and is supportive of them to the public.
Maintain appropriate work habits, including regular and punctual attendance and appropriate use of conference and planning time.
