Essential Responsibilities
Teach four sections/two to three preps per trimester.
Two seasons of coaching or equivalent co-curricular commitment, including at least one season of interscholastic coaching (or the equivalent).
Advise five to eight students.
One evening a week of "House duty," providing supervision in a student residence from 6-11:30 pm.
Faculty who reside in School-provided housing are expected to spend eight years living in one of the residential houses at some point in their career; although not necessarily starting their first year.
Chaperone a weekend activity (dance, coffee house, etc.) one or two times a term.

Role Overview:
The Building Substitute provides critical, flexible support to students, classrooms, and the building at large that help our schools ensure that a) learning is maximized for students every day and b) successful, smooth day-to-day operations. The Building Substitute will provide classroom coverage as needed and should be comfortable and confident stepping into lead quality instruction across a variety of classrooms (guidance and resources will be provided).
