Job Profile Summary
This role focuses on assessing the needs of patients who have physical, mental, or emotional disabilities and delivering therapy services to improve their developmental, physical or cognitive impairment. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following Respiratory Therapy duties: Evaluates patients and helps them improve physical and mental conditions through treating cardiopulmonary related dysfunction. A professional individual contributor role that may direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education. An entry level role that applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. May require the following proficiency: work is closely supervised, problems faced are not typically difficult or complex, and explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.
Job Overview
This position is responsible for respiratory care for patients of all age groups, who are diagnosed with cardio-pulmonary dysfunction. Sets up various types of equipment to administer prescribed doses of medicinal gases and aerosolized drugs. Administers all types of respiratory therapy treatments including, oxygen delivery, mechanical ventilator management, diagnostic procedures (e.g., blood gas sampling and analysis, bedside pulmonary function testing, pulse oximetry, EKG's, BCLS, function and troubleshooting of respiratory therapy equipment). Works cooperatively within department and other services to create a system of quality health care.
Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
2. Licensed by the state of Massachusetts to provide respiratory care.
3. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). If employed at TMC, must be RRT.
4. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
2. One (1) year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
1. Initiates patients on invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation; routinely checks and maintains proper function of ventilator in conjunction with the physician order.
2. Abides with infection control guideline for invasive and non-invasive equipment per departmental policy. Changes and adjusts ventilator parameters based on clinical assessment and blood gas analysis in accordance with physician orders.
3. Weans patients from mechanical ventilation and other therapies through patient assessment and adjusting parameters within prescribed protocols.
4. Administers inhaled medications in accordance with institutional guidelines derived from the department of respiratory care and pharmacy.
5. Administers oxygen using low flow, high flow, open and closed circuits.
6. Embodies patient and family centered care. Explains procedures to patients and family.
7. Provides services to analyze blood specimens for blood gases, glucose and electrolytes in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units.
8. Administers Positive Pressure Breathing, (e.g. CPAP or BiPAP), which consists of the application of positive pressure to the upper airway to promote better lung inflation and aerosol distribution.
9. Routinely assists in the transport of patients requiring life-support to and from referral hospitals.
10. Provides in-house transport of mechanically ventilated and other high-risk patients.
11. Provides non-traditional therapies, e.g. Nitric Oxide gas administration, as ordered.
12. Provides resuscitation and support services at all high-risk deliveries.
13. Monitors effectiveness of therapy using non-invasive techniques such as pulse oximetry, end tidal CO2 and transcutaneous PO2/PCO2, in addition to invasive techniques such as arterial blood gas sampling.
14. Analyzes inspired oxygen concentration using various oxygen analyzers.
15. Calibrates monitors and maintains Transcutaneous Oxygen Monitors, End Tidal CO2 and pulse Oximetry monitors.
16 Assists in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation as part of Code Team primarily providing airway management and manual resuscitation. Commonly administers drugs via the endotracheal tube during cardiopulmonary rescue e.g. Lidocaine, Atropine Sulfate and Epinephrine.
17. Documents therapy, patient assessment, and interventions performed and test results in the progress notes of the medical record in a concise, accurate, and thorough manner.
18. Transcribes a detailed shift note for all patient's cared for during the shift.
19. Responsible for acknowledging the proper assembly of all respiratory therapy equipment prior to and during patient use.
20. Performs daily rounds and fairly bills patients for services rendered. Attend rounds daily with the intensive care unit critical care team and is an active participant in the patient's care.
21. Assists with development of in-service programs for departmental personnel.
22. Assists the Associate Director with the orientation of new employees; acts as a preceptor for new employees and is utilized as a clinical instructor for students enrolled in local universities.
Physical Requirements:
1. Able to walk and stand for approximately 90% of the time.
2. Able to transport respiratory therapy equipment (up to 100 lbs.) using carts or wheels on the equipment to and from patient areas.
3. Able to communicate with and assess the patient needs of different age populations.
4. Requires manual dexterity using fine hand manipulation to operate computer keyboard and or respiratory equipment.
5. Requires ability to see computer screen and reports.
Skills & Abilities:
1. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology of the cardiopulmonary system, and Respiratory Science.
2. Ability to communicate effectively with all professional staff as well as all patients.
3. Ability to assess patient status and develop treatment plans.
4. Ability to perform all required duties under emergency and stressful situations.

Ensure the provision of comprehensive health care in a region.
Serve as liaison for clinical matters related to on-site, off-site specialty care, emergency department services, and inpatient care.
Provide 24/7 on call back up for site Medical Directors.
Participate in Continuous Quality and Safety Improvement functions, including clinical quality indicators, patient safety chart and site audits.

We are seeking an experienced Networking-focused AWS DevOps Engineer to support and optimize our multi-region cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across AWS networking, multi-region architectures, CI/CD, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and data platform components such as Redshift. This role is part-time but requires a hands-on engineer who can troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance our production and non-production cloud environments.

Redshift & Data Infrastructure Support
• Support Redshift cluster configuration, security, WLM settings, performance optimization, and connectivity.
• Ensure secure and optimized data flows between ETL layers, Redshift, EC2/ECS services, and S3.
• Collaborate with data teams to tune Redshift workloads and ensure optimal network performance.
Security & Compliance
• Enable IAM policies, role-based access, and least-privilege security controls.
• Implement multi-region failover, backup/restore strategies, and environment hardening.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices, patching, encryption, and CloudTrail logging.
Operations, Troubleshooting & Support
• Troubleshoot multi-region connectivity, latency, DNS, and infrastructure issues.
• Optimize cloud spend across compute, networking, and Redshift workloads.
• Provide on-call / ad-hoc support during deployments or critical incidents (as needed).

* Provide training/technical assistance to Assistant District Attorneys, Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME), police/fire personnel and other stakeholders on the collection and preservation of evidence, the results of laboratory testing and on laboratory operations.
* Perform and/or participate in validation studies/performance verifications for work groups or units.
* Participate in the training to Forensic Scientists of a lower level as required.
* Provide testimony as an expert and/or material witness in court and/or at formal judicial hearings in order to defend the findings of a test, examination or analysis, provide opinions on test results/examinations, demonstrate scientific procedures, and to explain test procedures and other job-related functions.
* Assist in the development of, review, revise, and follow protocols and procedures for all unit duties, as required.
* Ensure compliance with the laboratory's administrative policies, quality assurance/quality control requirements and ANAB accreditation standards.
* Implements quality control procedures; determines whether to accept or reject samples and/or materials sent to the laboratory for testing or analysis and assists in making necessary technical decisions to produce accurate results efficiently for all tests performed in the laboratory.
* Creates a positive work environment and effectively communicates with others.
* Performs all other related duties as assigned.
In addition to possessing the knowledge, skills and abilities required for Forensic Scientist II, incumbents are required to have the following at the time of hire:
* Knowledge of safety practices and procedures adopted in a forensic laboratory.
* Knowledge of chemistry research methods and procedures.
* Knowledge of legal terms and the legal process.
* Knowledge of how to direct subordinates in the proper techniques for handling, preserving, tracking and transporting samples and specimens used in a laboratory to preserve the integrity of the samples for presentation in a court of law.
* Ability to generate legal documents for use in the court system.
* Ability to take information about a case and determine what needs to be tested.
* Ability to give oral and written instructions in a precise and understandable manner.
* Ability to supervise, including planning and assigning work according to the nature of the job to be accomplished, the capabilities of subordinates and available resources; controlling work through periodic reviews and/or evaluations; motivating subordinates to work effectively and efficiently; and determining the need for and either recommending or initiating disciplinary action.
* Ability to gather information through questioning and observing individuals and by examining records and documents and determining the proper format and procedures for assembling the items of information.
* Ability to evaluate the quality of collected chemical data and/or physical evidence.
* Ability to interact effectively with and establish rapport with diverse teams and groups of people.
* Ability to understand and apply Massachusetts General Law and federal statutes, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards and guidelines governing assigned unit activities.

Minimum Entrance Requirements:
Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in the natural sciences, including Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Forensic Science, Pharmacology or Physics and (A) at least three years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional experience as a bench chemist or forensic scientist in a crime laboratory or comparable setting and (B) full competence as a forensic analyst within an accredited laboratory in a relevant forensic science specialization, and documented experience in providing testimony as both an expert and material witness in legal proceedings, or (C) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.
Substitutions:
I. A Masters or higher degree in the natural sciences, including Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Forensic Science, Pharmacology or Physics may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the required (A) experience.

The Town of Westwood is seeking a talented individual for the seasonal position of Summer Camp Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and operation of a comprehensive summer day camp program. Duties include planning, coordinating and supervising a wide variety of activities at camp, as well as staff management, field trip planning, and special event coordination.
The position is 40-45 hours per week while camp is in session, June 22-August 14, 2026. Part-time, pre-season planning hours are necessary and flexible in the winter and spring.
Westwood's Camp Director will work closely with the Recreation Program Managers and a Seasonal Leadership Team of 8 other responsible adults.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Manage and coordinate the 7-8 week Westwood Recreation Summer Day Camp for Kindergarten - 8th Grade. Camp is open Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM 5:30 PM. (Camp Director is not expected to be at camp 7:30 AM 5:30 PM; however, an 8-hour work day is expected).
* Plan, supervise and lead the daily operations of the Westwood Recreation Day Camp program, and provide a fun and creative experience for campers.
* Assist in preparing and facilitating pre-season staff trainings, including a dedicated camp training.
* Assist with interviewing, hiring and evaluating Camp Supervisors & Staff.
* Assist with acquiring and maintaining the MA Camp license. Must possess a general knowledge of MA Camp Licensing requirements.
* Coordinate camp entertainment including field trips, entertainers and equipment rentals.
* Collaborate with Program Manager to manage disciplinary action, as needed. Must be able to handle disciplinary issues among campers and staff appropriately.
* Prepare camp lists for each week.
* Meet with Program Manager regularly to discuss supplies, special events, weekly themes and budget.
* Oversee the use of equipment and facilities. Immediately report any facility damage to the Program Manager.
* Perform the duties of the Health Supervisor in their absence (First Aid Certification required).
* Oversee Camp Supervisory Team including Health Supervisor and Camp Senior Supervisors.
* Oversee safe drop off and dismissal process.
* Work cooperatively with other members of the Recreation Department, including Aquatics Manager and Recreation Assistant, to ensure smooth operation of camp.
* Responsible for implementation of department safety and emergency policies to maintain the health, safety and welfare of all campers and staff.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in Recreation, Education, or related field; teaching certification preferred; three years supervisory camp/program experience required; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements/Certifications: First Aid and CPR/AED certification by start of camp.
Schedule Requirements: Mandatory staff trainings June 9-11, 4:00-8:00 PM. Work commitment Monday-Friday, June 22 - August 14, 2026 (No July 3rd).
Salary and Benefits: This is a seasonal, non-benefit position, with an hourly rate of $26.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience/qualifications.
