North Suffolk is looking for Clinicians to join our In-Home Therapy team! The In-Home Therapy Clinician provides intensive family therapy by working with a child and family to treat the child's challenging behaviors, mental health needs, and to help the family with supporting and caring for the child. Interventions are designed to enhance and improve the family's capacity to improve the youth's functioning in the home and community and may prevent the need for the youth's admission to an inpatient hospital, psychiatric residential treatment facility or other treatment setting.
This position is currently a hybrid position: community visits and remote work, contingent on family preference.
Bilingual Spanish highly preferred - $5,000 language differential!
What you'll do:
Identify and utilize community resources to help develop and maintain natural supports for the youth and parent/caregiver(s).
Review and develop risk management plans and implement focused interventions and behavioral techniques.
Complete written comprehensive home-based, psychosocial behavioral health assessment in the youth's home or community.
Monitor progress and attainment of treatment plan goals and objectives.
Work with the entire family to implement focused interventions and behavioral techniques in order to enhance problem-solving, limit-setting, risk management/safety planning, communication, build skills to strengthen the family, advance therapeutic goals, or improve ineffective patterns of interaction.

Experience:

Education:
Master's degree in a relevant field required

Skills:

North Suffolk's Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) - Mobile Crisis Intervention Program is looking for a Mobile Crisis Clinician (Weekend and/or Overnight Per Diem) at our East Boston location! The Mobile Crisis Clinician provides direct emergency psychiatric clinical services to youth and their families and coordination/consultation to other care providers also involved, in collaboration with other emergency services staff.
This is a mobile position, with the expectation of some on-site shifts and on-site response. Overnight hours: 11pm-7am.
The commute to work must be able to be easily completed within an hour, even during rush hour traffic.
Base on-call rate (no cases): $15-$17 per hour.Case rate (hour based on number of cases) $30 - $65 per hour.
What you'll do:
Provide support, coordination of disposition planning and treatment service for the duration of the MCI episode of care according to clinical need.
Fulfill aspects of YMCI (Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention) ESP specifications, which require in-home crisis intervention with youth and families.
Coordinate follow up with other staff members of the Emergency Services Program to insure needs of youth and family are met to reduce crisis.
Provide direct mobile and on site psychiatric clinical services in coordination with other community service providers.
Evaluate clients in terms of setting and treatment plan which includes evaluation and developing a treatment plan.
Asses crisis or emergency situations and intervene immediately with appropriate treatment for clients.

The Counseling Center at Merrimack College seeks a Mental Health Clinician - Athletics Support position to join its team of counselors serving undergraduate and graduate students. ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The job of the Crisis Intervention Specialist was established for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional program with specific responsibilities for providing prevention and intervention services to students in coordination with the SCSD Student Support staff, security and local law enforcement agencies; providing in-service training to staff, parents, students and community organizations; and intervenes with identified students through direct contact with the students and with their families.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides individual and group therapy to students. Responsible for developing individual strength based treatment plans with an interdisciplinary team. Provides family therapy to families as requested. Provides collateral services to agencies on behalf of students and families. Provides clinical services to students and families.

Provides discharge planning and community liaison to students and families.

Participates in meetings with parents/guardians, meetings with public school system personnel, and annual reviews as needed.
