Full-time Description
Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, currently has an opportunity to be an Entry Level Technician. The Entry Level Technician performs entry-level vehicle maintenance repairs and services on customers' vehicles while delivering the highest quality and customer satisfaction. Work with store management to ensure productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards are met. Adheres to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Correctly mounts, dismounts, balancing, and repair of passenger and light truck tires.
Properly perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
Properly perform and document vehicle safety inspections.
Perform unsupervised vehicle maintenance repairs including, but not limited to, headlights, fan belts, batteries, and wiper blade replacement.
Work with store management to ensure productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards are met.
Adhere to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Maintain a neat and clean work area by properly disposing of all waste products.
Assume other responsibilities as needed.
Requirements

The Field Service Technician II for Donaldson Filtration Services, a Donaldson company, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing dust collection systems. Role Responsibilities:
* Perform routine scheduled, unscheduled preventative maintenance and general maintenance services on industrial ventilation systems and other filtration equipment.

* Represent the company by serving as the direct customer contact.
* Continually enforces safety to the highest standards.
* This position requires working in diverse conditions including but not limited to areas with exposure to varying degree of industrial noise, exposure to different weather conditions, working at various heights on ladders and aerial lifts, exposure to airborne dust and debris and working with electricity.
* This position is physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 lbs.
* Maintain service records using an field service management software and computer.
* Ability to maintain an inventory in stock room and service trucks
Minimum Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED
* 3+ year of maintenance, repair or related experience
* Valid Drivers license
* Must be able to wear a respirator
Preferred Qualifications:
* Must be able to travel including overnight (estimated 25%)
* Must pass physical requirements evaluation
* Must be able to use an iPad for work order and time management
* The ideal candidate will have experience with Industrial Ventilation, Compressed Air Services, Electric Motors, Fans and Three Phase Power
* Ability to work overtime when needed
* 3+ years' experience preferably in Industrial Maintenance and/or Millwright
* General Industrial Maintenance experience
* Self-motivated, reliable, and organized
* Ability to work on your own and with a group.
* Forklift experience preferred but not required (Donaldson will provide certification)
Hourly Pay Range: $24.08 - $30.09 per hour, depending on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.

While the role is based in a primary location, it may require operating remotely or traveling to various locations, including the production plant, to provide vehicle support as business needs demand. This job description outlines the full spectrum of skills required, and candidates will be assessed against this spectrum to determine the appropriate level for their expertise. Responsibilities Perform or assist with assigned vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections, whether at a service center or in the field directly at customer homes, businesses, or other convenient locations. Identify and explain the Rivian product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories. Utilize available technical resources to follow Rivian repair procedures efficiently without compromising quality or safety. Conduct road tests to ensure the quality of repairs. Manage necessary parts operations, including ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory. Identify areas of improvement and provide feedback to senior technicians or leadership. Support service campaigns and containment initiatives. Ensure that all work and technical notes are properly documented for internal and external use. Work collaboratively with a team spirit and maintain high-quality work with minimal supervision. Communicate with a high level of professionalism in customer-facing situations. Stay current with technical skills and complete required training. Qualifications General Requirements: High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools. Must be at least 21 years old. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record, with no driving-related suspensions or revocations within a 3-5 year period. Ability to drive a non-commercial truck and trailer is preferred. Must be available for a 40-hour work week, which may include weekends, holidays, and shifts during early morning, evening, or overnight hours based on business needs. This includes understanding the function of various high voltage components and their monitoring systems. Highly skilled technicians will be capable of diagnosing complex high voltage faults related to charging, isolation, and interlock loop issues using the manufacturer's diagnostic processes. Chassis, Brakes & Suspension: Technicians should be proficient in fundamental chassis service, including the ability to mount and balance tires, perform vehicle alignments, and replace brake system components. The role requires the ability to diagnose mechanical suspension components and progress to repairing advanced vehicle dynamic issues related to traction control, ABS, and power steering. Top-tier candidates will be adept at resolving complex drivability concerns such as Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH). Thermal Systems: Technicians must be able to service vehicle thermal systems, starting with the ability to perform a coolant drain-and-fill and safely handle refrigerant with a 609 certification. A comprehensive understanding of the entire A/C system and its components is expected. An ideal candidate can proficiently use an A/C machine and diagnose a range of thermal system concerns, including issues with coolant systems, air conditioning performance, and HVAC systems. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS): A working knowledge of ADAS is required, beginning with a basic understanding of the features and their operation. Technicians will be expected to replace system components and perform necessary calibrations. Advanced understanding includes knowing the functionality and limitations of the complete ADAS system and the specific roles of its various sensors. Body & Glass: The role includes responsibilities related to the vehicle body, from assisting with glass removal and installation to safely replacing windshields and other glued body fixtures. Technicians may be tasked with adjusting body panels to specified tolerances and should be capable of diagnosing and repairing issues such as wind noise and water leaks. Night shift times vary by location. Employees working night shifts will receive a 15% shift differential in addition to the base hourly pay.
