Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing international import small package service (logistics process improvement is a plus), procurement experience, export/import/trade compliance knowledge, and operational experience.
Must have fluency in communication skills in English and Japanese (business level in speaking and writing).
Good knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and logistics operations.
Proficient with MS Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and SQL.
Ability to create effective presentations in PowerPoint.
The compensation range for this position is between $80,000 and $90,000 annually. Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and location. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Check customer delivery schedule against inventory plan to isolate inventory shortages. Works with plants, SEWS logistics team, freight forwarders, and warehouse to countermeasure.
Works with SEWS logistics and freight forwarder ton manage in-bound ocean container and air for timely delivery to the finished goods warehouses.
Formulates report and carries out contingency planning based on risk assessment to protect SEWS inventory and customer from risk of line down.
Active member in prototype/new model start-up activity team on behalf of GPP Production planning business unit. Participate in all meetings and act accordingly to meet team objectives.
Provides instruction to as well as negotiates with related business unit departments regarding finished goods and materials management, delivery timing, new model project schedule timing, design change implementation timing, rework activities, obsolescence and service parts processing.
Supports management with monthly KPI reporting and provides support data for root cause analysis and countermeasures.
QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENT:
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: 1-5 years of work experience in a related filed. Experience working in a Japanese company (Japan or US) preferred. Sequential manufacturing scheduling skills and international import experience preferred.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Math application skills. Japanese communication skills preferred but no required. Ability to perform in a high paced environment. Must be able to participate in AM & PM meetings held with overseas plants and related companies.

* Lead internal EHS audits and inspections including closing out audit findings and reporting results to upper management.
* Review process designs to ensure EHS risk are understood, prioritized, controlled, and corrected. (Hazard Identification, Job Safety Analysis, Management of Change, etc).
* Develop and present EHS training packages. Work with business unit EHS representatives to create standardized programs.
Key Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent work experience. Certification in EHS from a recognized institution and experience in project, construction and/or industrial EHS fields is a Plus.
* 5+ years of EHS-related experience.
* Working knowledge of OSHA (general industry) requirements and regulations.
* Lean manufacturing experience, preferred.
* Proven success in utilizing formal problem resolution tools (RCCM, etc.).
* Experience in a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment, preferred.

Compensation:

The facility manufactures poly glass pressure vessels, hydropneumatics pressure tanks, brine and water storage tanks which are commonly used in water purification systems, including water softeners and well systems for residential customers. You will read and understand standard work instructions, comply with safety standards and procedures as well as help maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Job Duties:
* Winding tank liner with fiberglass strands that are coated with a mixture of resin and hardener.
* Produce the liners and/or air cells using blow mold presses.
* Removing excess flashing as parts come off the press, as well as quality inspection.
* Offloading, assembling, filling, testing, and packaging tanks
* Follow all 5S practices and supports lean activities, as well as safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Position hours/shift (Overtime Available!):
* 1st shift: 6:45am to 5:15pm, Monday - Thursday
* 3rd shift: 8:30pm to 7am, Monday - Thursday
* 10% shift differential for 3rd shift
Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50 pounds. Steel-toed shoes are required.
Compensation:

Key Qualifications:
Have earned a bachelor's (B.S.) degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering, or related technical field.
Have 3+ years of hands-on experience working with automation systems in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environments-such as PLC programming, HMI design, or robotic system integration.
Proficiency with industrial control platforms such as Allen-Bradley (Rockwell), Siemens, or Fanuc; experience with troubleshooting and optimizing control systems and automated equipment.
Familiarity with robotic systems used in production or warehouse automation, including pick-and-place, material handling, or AGVs (automated guided vehicles).
Experience applying Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles (e.g., kaizen, 5S, standard work).
Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead initiatives and collaborate across departments.
Effective communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Working knowledge of automation safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 79, ISO 13849).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-mix environment with both legacy and modern systems.
Compensation:
For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $71000 - $131800 / year.
