Description SEWS-El Paso Customer Service Center (Eastside) Job Title QA Technician (Hourly Position) Job Duties and Responsibilities
Follow up with the inspections and sorting of FG materials
Work close with the sorting company for good instructions and sorting methods
Observe and ensure all the safety rules are followed by the QA members and sorting company
Develop standard or visual aid and reports for sorting purposes
Help during the ISO/TS internal and external audits
Propose changes on ways and procedures in order to make the process more efficient and accurate
Close contact to the manufacturing plants in Mexico for feedback on quality issues
Ensure FG material conditions are correctly identified and meet with all customer requirements
Judgement of Good and No Good part using measurement tools and repair of defects based on skill level/hierarchy
Support to material handler to move material using forklift
Perform the Tear Down Inspection to the wire harnesses
All other duties assigned
Qualifications
Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred
Available to travel between the US and Mexico, Valid Passport needed
Excellent dimensional skill and detailed oriented (basic knowledge of international metric system and usage of measurement instruments (measure tape, caliper, etc.)
Basic knowledge of MS Excel
Disposition to work Overtime in short notice
Ability to drive forklift
Excellent communication skills
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar Quality Assurance duties and ISO/TS16949 preferred

Maintain operational condition and calibration records of all CEG equipment.
Create and maintain Work Instructions and procedures related to component evaluation processes.
Develop or update Work Instructions.
Standardize testing methodologies for continuous improvement.
Train CEG engineers and SEWS CFT associates in component evaluation methods and equipment use.
Maintain 5S and ensure lab safety compliance.
Conduct XRF testing using x-ray equipment for Substances of Concern.
Assist in sourcing and ordering lab equipment, test plates, jigs, and fixtures.
Prepare and present KPIs related to lab activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering field required (BSEE or BSME preferred).
0-3 years of experience in product evaluation or quality engineering.
Hands-on experience with product evaluation using a Visual Measuring System and Force Tester.
Experience in automotive component development preferred.
Understanding of GD&T (certification preferred).
Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and motivated to take on challenging tasks.
Ability to multi-task effectively (e.g., component evaluation, equipment/jig procurement, evaluation planning).
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Field Technician to perform site surveys and telecommunications installations for MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) properties. Site surveys will require accessing MDUs and documenting information about the building that will determine build requirements. The installations will involve mounting rooftop radio antennas, running Ethernet and coax cables, and installing and turning up telecommunications equipment at various MDU locations. Safety training will be provided and required for the job.
This position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to work on exciting, hands-on projects that bring cutting-edge connectivity solutions to communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed site surveys to access building physical layout, condition, cable type and line of site from MDU to serving wireless donor (tower or building).
Evaluate structural integrity and suitability for installing telecommunications equipment and associated cabling.
Collect and document all survey information for communication and direction with engineering team.
Ensure all materials and tools are inventoried and prepared for each installation job.
Installation of wireless radio equipment on roof tops along with associated cabling will be required. Access will be with ladders, mechanical lifts, or via roof top hatches or doors depending on the MDU type.
Installation of telecommunications equipment inside MDU communications rooms may require wall mounted backboards as well as wall mounted equipment and associated cabling.
Use of construction tools such as ladders, saws, drills, cable crimpers, and other hand tools will be required as well as use of a company provided laptop computer and signal testing devices.
After the installation of all equipment and cabling, antenna alignment and signal testing will be required with test equipment and laptop computer.
Prepare and submit comprehensive job reports.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during on-site activities.
