Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, on occasion. Ability to work outside in various weather conditions. Valid Driver's license with a good driving record and ability to drive. Must be able to perform duties without supervision and be able to read resource materials to determine answers to simple inspection requirements. Level III Technicians: Minimum five years of relevant experience. Must be able to perform duties without supervision and be able to read resource materials to determine answers to simple inspection requirements. Level IV Technicians: Minimum seven years of relevant experience. May serve as a Lead Project Inspector performing general project oversight and communication with the contractor and NCDOT. Will be responsible for supervising lower-level technicians while providing guidance as needed.
