Job Description
The Occupational Medicine Customer Service Coordinator will be a remote position with periodic in-office days based on departmental needs. The individual employed in this position will be responsible for providing daily support to the Occupational Medicine Department serving as the customer service liaison for sales, operations and back-of-house administration. The Occupational Medicine sector of CityMD includes employee screening services and on-the-job injury treatments (Workers' Compensation) for employers.
Duties and Responsibilities
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Occupational Medicine Customer Service Coordinator are:
* Act as customer service liaison for Occupational Medicine Team by serving as the initial point of entry to the department, managing all contacts through multiple channels.
* Triage calls and emails to appropriate team members including but not limited to Sales, Operations, Aftercare, Case Management and Billing
* Resolve customer problems by clarifying their complaint, determining the cause of the problem, and providing appropriate solutions to ensure resolution
* Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism and working to establish a positive rapport with every contact.
* Provide daily support to sales team by assisting employer accounts' requests including but not limited to transmitting results and forms, answering questions regarding services performed, assisting with issues, educating on protocol, etc.
* Responsible for transmitting exam results to select employer accounts on a daily basis
* Collaborate with Operations site staff on a daily basis to assist with employer needs and troubleshoot issues
* Log errors related to Occupational Medicine using CRM Salesforce to report to Operations leadership with the goal to improve our Occupational Medicine services and offerings
* Maintain relationships with employer accounts through ongoing communication and touchpoints
* Assist with execution of the onboarding program for new employer accounts
* Track and maintain up-to-date account information and activities in Salesforce CRM
* Support all aspects of CityMD's Occupational Medicine Sales, Service and Operation initiatives
* Work closely with other departments including but not limited to Operations, Academy, Marketing, Billing, Aftercare, Case Management, IT and Analytics to meet client needs, drive volume and ensure seamless operation processes for customer experience
* Log activity and maintain employer account information daily using CRM (Salesforce)
* Attend weekly department meetings to review progress of team goals and report progress
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
A candidate's qualifications will include:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Public Health or other applicable degree preferred
* Proven customer support experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Strong understanding of all services offered within Occupational Medicine and ability to effectively communicate these services with expertise to both existing and prospective clients
* Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
* Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
* Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
* Positive attitude and ability to project this around others
* Strong multitasking and organizational skills
* High attention to detail

Physical Requirements
This job may require, from time to time, repetitive tasks with few breaks.
This is a non-exempt position. The base compensation range for this role is $20.00-$23.00 per hour. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. The selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan.

Education, Certification, Computer and Training Requirements
Certification in the specific subfield(s) of medical physics with its associated medical health physics aspects by an appropriate national certifying body and abides by the certifying body's requirements for continuing education.
Ph.D/MS in physics, medical physics, radiological physics, medical health physics, or equivalent disciplines from an accredited college or university
One year of clinical experience in a Radiation Oncology department
Proficiency in following modalities:
External beam planning, including 2D, 3D, IMRT, gating
Specialized EBRT to include SBRT and/or SRS
High dose rate brachytherapy
Radionuclide handling and/or therapy
BC/BE with certification by either:

* Recalls patients for follow-up procedures or error correction as required. Documents callbacks in the lab logbook.
* Utilizes LIS for all applicable functions to perform job duties, including downtime procedures.
* Adapts work schedule to meet emergency staffing needs.

Phlebotomy Technician Certification through the National Health Career Association (NHA) preferred; may be required for specific locations based on operational needs.
CLA Certificate preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA guidelines and laboratory requirements to include skills in phlebotomy techniques with adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients, computer/data entry skills and phone etiquette are required.
Attention to detail, ability to critically think, multitask, and maintain accuracy during periods of frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
Consistently demonstrate the ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner and read/follow procedures accurately.

Job Description
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
Radiologic technologists must follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to regulations concerning the use of radiation to protect themselves, their patients, and their coworkers from unnecessary exposure.
Help patients transfer to the detector or exam table and ensuring adequate patient immobilization to perform radiologic exam.
Verify proper patient identification on the study and route it PACS. Send required information to Virtual Radiologic when indicated.
Place demographic information in the reading room for interpretation.
Maintains a daily log of patients seen.
Candidates will be cross trained upon hire to perform any applicable modalities to meet department needs
Potential to operate radiologic or fluoroscopy (c-arm) equipment for diagnostic quality imaging / perform bone density exams. Training will be provided.
Obtains essential information from patients, medical records, and previous scans for clinical correlation.
Monitor patient reaction to treatment and changes in physical or mental status, reporting change to the appropriate person.
Prepare and assist patients for radiologic procedures as requested by a physician. Provide patient care with dignity and respect for the individual. Educate patients about the procedures to be performed. Obtain optimum quality images through employment of proper anatomical positioning, radiologic techniques and other required techniques in accordance with the protocols designed by the radiologists.
Observe and follow safety procedures to include radiation protection and universal precautions.
Carry out quality control checks on equipment, reporting deficiencies to proper personnel for action.
Must be able to work independently and demonstrate flexibility in work assignments.
Demonstrate commitment of total quality management and the tenets of service excellence by acting in accordance with the organizational mission at all times.
Keep familiar with changes regarding technology and safety for self, patients, and visitors.
Process studies onto CD or Film format for patient study requests while maintaining proper HIPPA compliance.
Maintain Cleanliness of equipment and working area.
Practice sterile technique and prevent cross contamination.
Maintain familiarity of the emergency drugs and equipment's location.
Maintain familiarity with the departments booking, scheduling, duplication, and PACS systems.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through training and fulfillment of continuing education requirements.
Ability to maintain a great knowledge in human anatomy and cross section anatomy, proper positioning skills, and appropriate utilization of protocols and imaging techniques.
High knowledge with variety of routine procedures and applications.
Ability to maintain continuing education credits and professional licenses required by the New York State Department of Health, Bureau of Environmental Protection and The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Required Qualifications:
New York State and/or Connecticut License and ARRT Certification. Potential requirement to obtain dual state licensure (NY and CT) post-hire, eligible for license reimbursement.
Maintaining superior diagnostic imaging in accordance with standardized procedures.
