James Johnston is an Exec VP/Chief Compliance Ofcr/General Counsel at SUMMIT MIDSTREAM PARTNERS, LP. He has worked as Sr VP/General Counsel at Crestwood Equity Partners L.P.. James studied at Cumberland School of Law and Western University.

Mr. Stratton is Vice President and Treasurer of Summit Midstream and is responsible for Summit’s capital raising efforts as well as overseeing Summit's investor relations activities, financial budgeting and forecasting efforts. Mr. Stratton has 11 years of experience in the midstream segment of the energy industry with prior positions at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and ING Investment Management. Mr. Stratton spent the first seven years of his career in SunTrust’s Capital Markets Division, rising to Vice President in its Project Finance Group. In this role, Mr. Stratton was directly involved in the origination, structuring, and syndication of over $1.0 billion of senior debt, mezzanine debt and equity for midstream energy companies. Immediately prior to joining Summit Midstream in 2009, Mr. Stratton was with ING Investment Management's Midstream Energy Group as an Assistant Vice President responsible for providing portfolio management and investment analysis for the Group's proprietary $300 million public and private equity investment portfolio. Mr. Stratton earned a BA in Economics from Denison University.
