SMC has an equity investment in and operates Double E Pipeline, LLC, which is natural gas transmission infrastructure that provides transportation service from multiple receipt points in the Delaware Basin to various delivery points in and around the Waha Hub in Texas.
We generate a substantial majority of our revenue under primarily long-term and fee-based gathering agreements with our customers. The majority of our gathering agreements are underpinned by areas of mutual interest (“AMIs”) and minimum volume commitments (“MVCs”). Our AMIs provide that any production drilled by our customers within the AMIs will be shipped on our gathering systems. The MVCs are designed to ensure that we will generate a minimum amount of gathering revenue over the life of each respective gathering agreement. The fee-based nature of the majority of the gathering agreements enhances the stability of our cash flows and limits our direct commodity price exposure.
Since our formation in 2009, our management team has established a track record of executing this strategy through the acquisition and subsequent development of DFW Midstream, Grand River, Polar & Divide, Niobrara G&P, and Double E Pipeline.

Summary
A Plant Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and record keeping of gathering system compressor stations or process plants.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Daily operation, documentation, and housekeeping of compressor stations with reciprocating natural gas compressors
Responsible for completing and maintaining required reports and logs
Monitor and adjust equipment to maintain optimum availability, efficiency, and throughput
Responsible for performing minor maintenance on engines, compressors, dehydrators, vapor recovery units, flares, separators, slug catchers, air compressors, and cooling fans
Daily condensate tank liquid handling and truck scheduling
Work with craft personnel to ensure any equipment/system problems are resolved in a timely manner
Responsible for reporting, troubleshooting, and correcting abnormal operating conditions
Responsible for coordinating and monitoring activities of contract personnel assigned to the area
Identify emergency situations and initiate Emergency Response Procedures
Promote a safe work environment, implement current safety policies and ensure environmental policies and regulatory compliance are being met
May be required at some locations to monitor meters and gauges to maintain correct temperature, pressure and flow of gas through system
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical certification or equivalent training in energy-related field preferred
Minimum 3 years of stable work history in the energy industry and/or technical training in mechanical and/or electrical field
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience with SCADA and control systems (i.e.; Delta V, Wonder Ware, Cygnet, Kimray)
Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including spreadsheet and word processing applications
Possess a strong commitment to personal and job safety including complying with state and federal regulations
Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of mechanical equipment as well as good verbal/written communication skills, decision making skills and a strong work ethic

The Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for implementing and maintaining safety, and health programs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as Company requirements.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists in the development, implementation and compliance of safety programs and work procedures, associated with federal, state, and local regulations and Company policies
Analyze, summarize, and report all necessary EHS data
Prepare, implement, and review EHS manuals, programs, procedures, and standards

Education & Experience:
BS degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or Four (4) years of oil and gas operations experience with involvement in HSE programs
Previous successful work experience in a safety compliance position is preferred
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Must demonstrate a working knowledge of OSHA regulations. DOT experience is a plus.
Familiarity with PSM and RMP regulations is a plus
Candidate must be able to interface effectively with governmental agencies, regulating boards, third parties, contractors, and lawyers
A high level of technical knowledge is desired, including the ability to be innovative and creative while utilizing technical resources to address complex compliance issues related to liquid and bulk material handling facilities.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to company and insurers
Must be able to successfully complete and pass of company drug screen, background check and respirator fit test
HAZWOPER 40-hr certification preferred

This position is primarily responsible for managing DOT regulated pipeline compliance and security (TSA) for Calpine's Pipeline operations in CA, TX, OR and AZ.
The Pipeline Compliance Manager develops and reviews pipeline procedures ensuring they conform to Federal and State regulations, industry practices, and related standards. Major programs include Operations and Maintenance, Integrity Management, Operator Qualifications (OQ), Emergency Response, and Public Awareness.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain in-depth knowledge of TSA Pipeline Security Guidelines and Directive requirements related to pipeline operations

Track and interpret DOT pipeline regulatory changes and implement program and procedure updates accordingly

A Plant Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and record keeping of gathering system compressor stations or process plants.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
* Daily operation, documentation, and housekeeping of compressor stations with reciprocating natural gas compressors
* Responsible for completing and maintaining required reports and logs
* Monitor and adjust equipment to maintain optimum availability, efficiency, and throughput
* Responsible for performing minor maintenance on engines, compressors, dehydrators, vapor recovery units, flares, separators, slug catchers, air compressors, and cooling fans
* Daily condensate tank liquid handling and truck scheduling
* Work with craft personnel to ensure any equipment/system problems are resolved in a timely manner
* Responsible for reporting, troubleshooting, and correcting abnormal operating conditions

* Identify emergency situations and initiate Emergency Response Procedures
