The SAU/PACU Registered Nurse Manager reports directly to the Director of the Surgery Centers. This is a full-time role based at our Vadnais Heights Campus. Monday - Friday schedule. The Appointment Scheduler plays a key role in ensuring efficient and accurate patient scheduling for St. Cloud Orthopedics. This position is responsible for coordinating appointments both over the phone and in person-scheduling new patients, follow-up visits, post-operative appointments, and rechecks in alignment with provider availability and clinic protocols. The role is critical in creating a positive experience for patients, serving as a key point of contact before and after their visit, and supporting the seamless flow of care within the clinic. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Schedule new and established patient appointments (including post-surgical, re-exams, and new conditions) via phone or in-person. Review information from patients and referring clinics to prioritize appointment needs, consulting with medical personnel when necessary. Maintain a smooth and efficient flow of physician schedules, identifying and communicating any concerns. Follow up with patients who missed appointments and assist with rescheduling. Request and coordinate medical records, imaging, and other documentation needed for appointments. Handle patient and physician inquiries professionally and in alignment with clinic policies. The Health Information Specialist is responsible for accurately processing medical records, fulfilling requests, following all policies regarding patients' permanent files. This is a full-time role based at our Corporate Office located in Woodbury, MN. Monday - Friday schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (schedule subject to change). Responds and reviews various requests for required patient medical records. Organizes and evaluates patient records for completeness and accuracy. Processes patient records in compliance with HIPAA, MN law and company policies. Answers, returns, and re-directs telephone calls. Processes subpoenas, worker's compensation and certifies patient medical records in compliance with proper policy and procedures in conjunction with the Senior Health Information Specialist. Processes radiology requests in conjunction with appropriate departments and staff. Creates and faxes invoices for medical records, processes requests and receives payments. Sorts, categorizes, scans and indexes patient medical records into the EMR/EHR environment and checks records to assure they are complete and properly identified. Makes any necessary corrections to patient electronic records. Files and organizes the retention/destruction of non-electronic patient medical records. Verifies that equipment functions properly: completes requisitions for repair or replacement of surgical instrumentation; removes defective instrumentation from general service. Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Disposes of filled suction and trash containers. Documents all steps of the sterilization process accurately and legibly; maintains sterilization logs and organizes evidence of sterilization processes. The Patient Account Coordinator supports the financial health of St. Cloud Orthopedics by managing patient billing, payments, and account follow-up. This role ensures timely and accurate handling of patient balances, provides excellent customer service to resolve billing inquiries, and partners closely with front desk and scheduling staff to prevent and address account issues before appointments. This position responsible for being detail-oriented, professional, and committed to maintaining positive patient relationships while upholding the clinic's financial integrity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Monitor patient accounts for delinquent payments and determine appropriate follow-up actions based on account history. Send payment reminders and first collection letters as accounts age. Communicate with patients via phone, written correspondence, and in person to discuss account status, answer billing questions, and encourage timely payment. Work with patients to develop reasonable payment arrangements when possible, considering their personal and financial situations. Review accounts receivable aging reports and assist with collection strategies. Provide cost estimates to patients for upcoming services. Collaborate with scheduling and front desk teams to identify and address problem accounts before appointments. Stay informed on applicable laws and guidelines related to collections, bankruptcy, and estate processes. Serve as a backup to other business office staff as needed. Responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients and assisting with orderly patient flow. Assists in providing quality care to patients by escorting to exam rooms, obtaining vitals, height, weight and history of condition, entering data into EHR, instructing patient in regard to preparing for examinations. Prepares patient and room for sterile procedures, injections, aspiration, pin removal, suturing, etc. Assists in procedures including splint removals, application/removal of dressings etc. Lifting patients, disposing of materials according to clinic and OSHA policies and procedures. Responds to Code 99 and other health emergency situations. Administers valium per standing orders for MRI patients who meet requirements. Monitors oxygen sats and pulse during scan. D. EDUCATION Degree from Licensed Practical Nursing or accredited Medical Assisting program. E. EXPERIENCE At least one year's experience as LPN or CMA in a clinic setting is preferred. F. KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS Knowledge of nursing principles and protocols, especially related to orthopedics. The Radiologic Technologist operating X-ray equipment to assist in the diagnoses of various diseases, ailments and injuries. This is a part-time, 0.9 FTE Radiologic Technologist role. This role will provide primary services at our new Plymouth Bass Lake Campus, with the ability to float to other Summit campuses as needed. Tentative schedule below - subject to change. Qualified candidates will be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and must have current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration. Week 1: Friday 8AM- 8PM; Saturday 8AM - 8PM; Sunday 8AM - 8PM. Week 2: Tuesday 8AM - 8PM; Wednesday 8AM - 8PM; Thursday 8AM - 8PM. Fluent in digital radiology technology. Possess advanced computer skills, including working knowledge of multiple computer applications and equipment, such as PACS, Digitizer, Outlook, EMR and EPM. Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills. Knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy regulations. Medical office and exam room settings. Frequent exposure to communicable diseases. Frequent contact with variety of people. Exposure to equipment noise for extended periods of time. Summit's hiring range for this position is $32.60 to $40.75 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation.
