Inspectors are responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and backflows with minimal supervision. * Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA codes with working knowledge of sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices and critical components. * Record and report deficiencies of fire protection systems to SFS and Customers. * Communicate with internal and external customers as well as offsite monitoring companies in a professional manner. * Proper use and operation of tools required to complete the inspection (heat and smoke detector kit, backflow kit, pump equipment) * Plan, coordinate, and complete inspections as scheduled in a timely manner. * Required to be in an on-call status as required by location to handle emergency service and inspection requests * Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained as required by company policies. * Ensure that all assigned tools are safeguarded and maintained. * Understand and follow SFS's Safety program, SDS book, Hazardous communication program, policies and procedures. Participate in weekly Toolbox talks. Inspectors must know where all related safety documentation is at all times on each project. * Attend seminars from time to time to stay abreast of changing technology, installation and testing approaches. * Train inspector trainees in all applicable aspects of fire protection. * Other duties may be assigned. The purpose of the Fire Life Safety Sales Executive position is to prospect and develop new customers. Customer development to include upselling and multi-line development of services, providing and negotiating pricing for inspection contracts. ISRs will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager, Service Manager and Service Operations Staff to ensure customer satisfaction. This position is a key part of our Service Department Team. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: * Pro-actively engage in making sales calls to new prospective customers to build the Inspection and Service business by adding new customers to existing portfolio. The responsibility of a Fire Sprinkler Foreman is to install sprinkler head, valves, and steel and CPVC pipe in newly constructed structures and renovations to existing structures with minimal supervision. * Cut, fabricate and install steel pipe and CPVC pipe as designed for fire sprinkler system. * Install and hang a variety of pipe, sprinkler heads, fittings, hangers and other fire protection components in accordance with blueprints and construction documents. * Install and trim a variety of valves for wet, dry, and pre-action fire protection systems. * Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents to ensure sprinkler system is constructed as designed. * Ensuring all project close out documents are turned in as needed. Such as test papers, red line drawing, owners training, signed extra work orders, etc. * Attend job meetings and coordinate schedules with GC and other contractors. * Ensure project timeline are being met, and all required documentation is submitted in time manner so project is completed on time and on budget. * Report any scheduling delays, personnel issues, safety concerns to your direct supervisor. * Coordinate and manage all assigned projects with the superintendent, GC and employees. * Ensuring communication by assigned crew with vendors, contractors is conducted in a professional manner. * Complete daily progress reports. Include any accidents, changes in design due to field conditions, proposed changes in scope and conflicts with design as related to existing conditions. * Ensure that all materials for a job is ordered and on site as required. The purpose of the Fire Alarm & Security Technician position is to install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire alarm and security systems, and other fire and life safety products with minimal supervision. * Knowledge of different manufactures clean agent and high-pressure suppression systems. * Appropriate use of required tools and test equipment such as multi-meter, megger, laptop to program, lifts, etc. to repair or replace fire alarm and suppression system components. * Comprehensive working knowledge of fire alarm codes and standards. * Programing and software knowledge with a variety of fire alarm systems that is used when removing or replacing components. * Troubleshoot to determine fault or faults to include ground faults with fire alarm systems. * Repair or replace damaged fire alarm components such as FACP, power supply, alarm-initiating devices, etc. * Safely follow and perform procedures to handle, remove and replace explosive actuators such as squibs and gas cartridge actuators. * Communicate with internal and external customers as well as offsite monitoring companies in a professional manner. * Required to be punctual to required work locations and complete scheduled projects in timely manner. * Use Field Service Lightning to track work orders, materials needed, time on job, etc. * Complete documentation on work orders. * Understand and follow SFS's Safety program, SDS book, Hazardous communication program, policies and procedures. This role is 100% commission The purpose of the Fire Suppression Technician is to provide installation, inspection, service and/or repair of Fire Extinguishers and any Pre-Engineered Suppression Systems and/or Fire Alarm & Security system with minimal supervision. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Use required tools and test equipment such as power machines groovers, cutters, band saw, lifts, etc. to repair or replace fire extinguishers, pre-engineered systems, and/or fire alarm & security systems components. Comprehensive working knowledge of NFPA codes, standards, and systems such as all types of fire extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression systems and/or fire alarm & security systems. Troubleshoot and identify defective components of pre-engineered suppression systems. Repair or replace damaged components of pre-engineered suppression systems as well as fire extinguishers and/or fire alarm & security systems. Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner. Required to be punctual to required work locations and complete scheduled projects in timely manner. Use Field Service Lightning to track work orders, materials needed, time on job, etc. Complete documentation on work orders. Understand and follow SFS's Safety program, SDS book, Hazardous communication program, policies and procedures. Participate in weekly Toolbox talks. Employee must always know location all related safety documentation on each project. Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained as required by company policies. Suppression Technicians will be placed in on-call status as required by location to handle emergency service requests. Periodically attend seminars or similar education/training sessions to stay abreast of latest technology, codes, and standards changes. Train service technician trainees in all applicable aspects of this . Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner. Other duties may be assigned. Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements: FEL-A License Required 2 Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within Fire Suppression. 2 years of professional computer skills Communication Skills: Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers. Other Qualifications: Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required. Must be able to comply with SFS's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.
