POSITION SUMMARY
Summit Utilities is seeking a motivated Communications Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for executing internal communications programs across Summit Utilities, Inc. and its operating companies, while also supporting external communications efforts. The Communications Coordinator will play a key part in drafting company-wide communications, managing our internal communications calendar, and partnering with departments to create clear, consistent messaging. The role will help find innovative ways to drive team member engagement and act as a vital bridge between team members and leadership.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement Summit's internal communications strategy across all departments and operating companies.
Draft, edit, and distribute company-wide communications, including announcements, updates, and policy information via email and other channels.
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly internal communications, ensuring timely dissemination of materials.
Maintain and oversee Summit's internal communications calendar to coordinate messaging and content deadlines.
Partner with internal departments to develop and align on strategic messaging initiatives.
Drive internal engagement through active oversight and maintenance of Summit's intranet and digital platforms.
Manage the project development, content creation, and execution of quarterly company newsletters.
Support the design, creation, and editing of all internal-facing presentations, notably in PowerPoint.
Provide internal communication-related trainings and resources as needed.
Lead internal and crisis communications, ensuring consistent, clear, and calm messaging during critical events.
Act as a bridge between team members and leadership, fostering open communications and a connected workplace.
Advocate for both team members and the organization by driving collaboration, engagement, and productivity-focused initiatives.
Respond to communication-related issues and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Assist with external communications efforts, including drafting press releases, monitoring media engagement, and supporting community relations.
Work collaboratively with external stakeholders to share the company's message and story at public events or external functions when appropriate.
Assist with content for reports, articles, publications, and aid in organizing volunteer outings, coding invoices, managing budgets, and facilitating company events.
Support additional Communications, Corporate Affairs, Sustainability, and Marketing projects as required.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in communications, public affairs, community affairs, marketing, or applicable field preferred.
Experience in corporate or internal communications within a multi-site or holding company structure.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with high attention to detail.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Fleet and Facilities provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the company's fleet and facilities portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering cost-effective, compliant, and efficient operations. Additionally, the director leverages technology and optimization tools, to enhance tracking, reporting, and operational efficiency across both domains. By combining strategic planning with hands-on management, this role ensures that vehicles, equipment, and facilities meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance while supporting the company's growth and operational excellence.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversight of team responsible for:
Maintaining accurate vehicle & driver data in multiple systems/databases, including but not limited to, SAP, WEX, Holman, GPS Insight, SharePoint.
Handling new vehicle/equipment purchases & retired vehicle/equipment sales.
Maintain vehicle inspection and maintenance programs.
Develop guidelines and work with managers to ensure that company drivers maintain the company fleet to the required standards.
Maintain positive business relationships with key suppliers and internal customers.
Oversight of AOG Fleet Garage
Oversee operations and maintenance of company properties and facilities portfolio.
Develop and implement short and long-term facility strategies aligned with company growth.
Manage preventative and ongoing maintenance programs.
Ensure that essential facility functions are in proper working order and maintained across the company's real estate portfolio
Ensure facilities comply with federal, state and local government regulations and maintain the highest level of adherence to environmental, health and safety standards
Advise building occupants on methods to improve the efficient use of the facility
Lead internal and external facility teams across the Summit Utilities footprint.
Manage the fleet & facility department's budget(s)
Organize and assist with office relocations.
Provide reporting as needed on maintenance, contracts, lease agreements (renewals/term expirations), etc.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience leading a fleet & facilities function and managing team members
Prior experience developing budgets; P&L review a plus
Valid state-issued driver's license and clean driving record
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
SAP experience is strongly recommended.

POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role is to manage indirect or direct spend procurement depending on the category, including developing and executing the category strategy, strategic sourcing, supplier selection, contracting, purchase orders and supplier performance management. POSITION SUMMARY
Performs Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and Geographic Information System (GIS) design assignments of proposed engineering and operations related projects, tracks and maintains the records related to those assignments.

Interprets construction designs and drawings of both existing and proposed gas distribution facilities.
Analyzes and interprets spatial data to ensure system integrity.
Assists customers and employees with basic facility information inquiries.
Designs and produces special graphic presentation maps.
Trains less experienced staff to perform duties listed above.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Requires a Vo-Tech/CAD/GIS/Drafting certificate or 60 credit hours in a related field from an accredited college or university.

POSITION SUMMARY
Plans, directs, schedules, performs, and checks all work in connection with construction and maintenance of gas distribution system. Performs company field operations including manual labor and other duties necessary to accomplish the installation, repair, construction, and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads and directs all gas distribution work for a construction crew.
Installs, repairs or replaces steel and plastic pipe.
Trains, coaches and monitors crew members.
Responsible for locating gas lines and ensuring that other utility lines are located prior to excavation.
Responsible for the quality of all plastic and steel welding by crew members.
Transports required equipment, tools, and supplies to work site.
Provides First Responder assistance in emergency situations.
Completes paperwork as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent knowledge of English, mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages), punctuation, grammar and spelling.
Preferred candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in construction, installation, and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems, including two (2) years' experience welding (steel) pipe & two (2) years' experience of plastic fusion activities.
Requires a commercial driver's license and company welding certification.

Provide a valid state Class A commercial driver's license and present and maintain a good driving record and to operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

Develop and implement emergency response plans that ensure coordination between the Company and local agencies and first responders.
Develop and manage the annual EHS&T budget.
Championing a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset across all levels of the organization.
Represent Summit at industry forums, conferences, and regulatory meetings.
Stay informed on emerging technologies and regulatory changes impacting EHS&T.
Support workforce development initiatives, including technician progression and certification programs.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, business administration, construction management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years of progressively responsible experience leading environmental, safety, and/or technical training programs within the utility, energy, or natural gas distribution industry.
6+ years of management or senior leadership experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams including environmental, safety, and training professionals in the utility, energy, or natural gas distribution industry.

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for leading the contract services team through resource planning and providing direction to contract crews, contract inspectors, company supervisors/managers, and company employees while aligning with Summits values. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct a team of managers fulfilling management responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws such as hiring; assigning and directing work; providing training; appraising performance, rewarding, and providing corrective action when necessary; assisting in the resolution of employee issues.

Permitting - Works closely with engineering staff and local managers to clearly and accurately identify and fulfill necessary permit requirements for gas systems projects (State DOT, USFS, COE, Railroad, City/County ROW, storm water, etc.). This may require periodic on-site monitoring and reporting, as well as coordination and planning with outside agencies and consultants as needed.
Project Management - Assists with management of project budgets and scheduling and creates Construction Execution Plans for scopes of work.
Rights - Of - Way/Easements - Works at the request of engineering management and local managers to accurately research property ownership information and develop acquisitions of any private rights-of-way necessary for construction work.
Assists with preparation and drafting of easement documents.
Works to help track easement acquisition progress and payments.
Record Keeping - Responsible for accurate record keeping related to installation and monitoring of gas systems, including but not limited to pipeline inspections and excavations, as built drawings, and easements. This involves coordination with the Company's Asset Data department and may require periodic data entry.
Performs occasional field work to evaluate site conditions, including the use and training of GPS equipment.
Coordination with multiple Company departments (Operations, Construction, Sales, Legal, GIS Regulatory, and Accounts Payable).

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in communications, public affairs, community affairs, marketing, or applicable field preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY
Plans, directs, schedules, performs, and checks all work in connection with construction and maintenance of gas distribution system. Performs company field operations including manual labor and other duties necessary to accomplish the installation, repair, construction, and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads and directs all gas distribution work for a construction crew.
Installs, repairs or replaces steel and plastic pipe.
Trains, coaches and monitors crew members.
Responsible for locating gas lines and ensuring that other utility lines are located prior to excavation.
Responsible for the quality of all plastic and steel welding by crew members.
Transports required equipment, tools, and supplies to work site.
Provides First Responder assistance in emergency situations.
Completes paperwork as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent knowledge of English, mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages), punctuation, grammar and spelling.
Preferred candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in construction, installation, and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems, including two (2) years' experience welding (steel) pipe & two (2) years' experience of plastic fusion activities.
Requires a commercial driver's license and company welding certification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Provide a valid state Class A commercial driver's license and present and maintain a good driving record and to operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Apply knowledge of industry and company safety standards and regulations and hold others accountable for complying.
Utilize and train others on the use of proper tools for any given job.
Demonstrate and maintain company plastic fusion certification and company welding certifications.
Perform gas meter resets and relights.
Able to utilize company's mapping system effectively.

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for leading and managing dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient routing of work and emergency notifications. This manager is responsible for dispatch operations in Shreveport LA, Maumelle AR, and Fort Smith AR including union and non-union teams. Key responsibilities include overseeing dispatch teams, optimizing routes, monitoring performance, resolving issues, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with other departments on a routine basis. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with expertise in dispatch software used throughout all Summit Utilities.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, train, and manage dispatch staff, while monitoring and analyzing dispatch performance metrics to drive improvements.
Manage dispatch schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
Implement route optimization strategies and leverage technology for real-time tracking.
Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with customer service and field operations to resolve scheduling conflicts.
Analyze performance metrics and drive process improvements.
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers to ensure safe seamless operations.
Ensure proper leadership availability and support during emergency events impacting the organization on a 24/7/365 basis.
Perform other duties as required including providing support and expertise to the Customer Service, Credit/Collections, and Field Operations work units.
Facilitate and/or participate in policy, procedure, or compliance collaborations with other departments as dispatch representatives.
Represent dispatch department in meetings and presentations.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of dispatch or field operations experience in a natural gas utility preferred.
2 years of supervisory experience, preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY
Performs company field operations including manual labor and other duties necessary to accomplish the installation, repair, construction and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, repair, or replace steel and plastic pipe
Provide First Responder assistance in emergency situations
Load and unload required equipment, tools, and supplies onto and from truck
Locate gas lines
Use a variety of hand tools and power tools, including picks, shovels, sharpshooters, pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, bolt cutters, pavement saws, jack hammers, air guns, etc.
Operate a motor vehicle and heavy equipment and the ability to enter and exit vehicle unassisted
Operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop
Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
Stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch daily for extended periods of time and in all types of weather conditions
Handle emergency situations, including possible exposure to gaseous atmospheres on occasion
Respond to emergency calls and/or call-outs and occasionally return to work while off duty
Certify and don personal protective equipment, such as respirator, safety glasses, hardhat, gloves, protective footwear and earplugs on a daily basis
Submit to random drug screen pool required for DOT drivers and DOT safety sensitive positions
Perform other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Ability to work outdoors on a daily basis in all types of weather conditions
Must be available to respond to emergencies during and after normal working hours
