Position Overview
H.B. Fuller's Rigid Packaging team is seeking a sales-minded technical professional to join our Commercial Team as a Sales Trainee. The position starts with a 6-to-12-month intensive Orientation/Training Program where the new hire will begin to develop the behaviors, skills and knowledge necessary leading to a territory manager position. The candidate will work closely with the existing Rigid Packaging Account Management and Field Technical Service teams to learn the markets, applications and solutions required to support and build upon a geographic territory.
Candidate MUST commit to relocating to any open US territory that may become available once deemed ready.

Primary Responsibilities
Responding to customer inquiries.
Selecting products for customers based on their critical to quality requirements, providing on-site product demonstration support, preparation of information in professional technical communications, and quantifying and communicating the value that H.B. Fuller brings to the customer.
Traveling to customer sites to support/run business reviews.
Managing, maintaining and growing their own sales territory and being accountable for delivering results.

Minimum Requirements
4 Year college degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Commerce, Packaging or other relevant fields graduating in Dec 2025 or May 2026.
Must be geographically mobile, and willing to relocate after training.
Work experience that demonstrates strong ethics and a willingness to learn.
Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel), and have good presentation and report writing skills.

Skills That Make a Difference:
* Enrolled in a Master's or PhD program such as statistics, data science, machine learning, or chemical engineering

What you'll do
As a Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Specialist Support Intern, you will:
* Gain practical, hands-on experience in the Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) field at a PSM-regulated site.
* Support the SHE department in day-to-day activities and ongoing safety initiatives at the Mentor facility.
* Participate in safety incident investigations, contributing to root cause analysis and resolution planning.
* Assist in tracking and implementing corrective actions to improve site safety and compliance.
* Contribute to the site's sustainability goals by supporting environmental programs and data collection efforts.
