STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: Under the supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, the Phlebotomist will perform quality assurance following all pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical areas of the laboratory, as well as device inspections for quality specimen collection. The Phlebotomist will follow all Sun Life, state, federal, CLIA, and The Joint Commission requirements and regulations.
