The opportunity:
Provider Enrollment and Credentialing Specialist reviews all aspects of the Initial/ Re-Apply Credentialing, Re-credentialing, privileging and overseeing the onboarding process for all incoming providers. Primary responsibilities include verifying all the credentialing criteria for practitioners that have applied to the network, including follow up with practitioners as needed to obtain information
How you will contribute:
Verify potential and existing provider's licensure, NPI, insurance, CDS, DEA certificate, education, hospital privileges, board certification.
Contract Validation: Review contract and application for completeness.
Review National Practitioners Data Bank for adverse charges pending or filed against Provider.
Review federal and/ or state OIG and SAM report for exclusion from the Medicaid or Medicare program.
Review state Medicare OPT Out report for exclusion from the Medicare program.
Monitors and reports provider complaints and utilization management reports.
Assist with scheduling site reviews.
Enroll the provider into payment system - Windward.
Enter all provider information into credentialing database - Cactus.
Maintain the integrity of the provider information in Windward and Cactus.
Ensures credentialing file is in order with any issues flagged for committee.
Meet required turnaround time and accuracy rate.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Assist management in the implementation of department process improvements.
Assist with the ongoing NCQA certification activities.
Represent DentaQuest in a professional manner at all times while communicating with internal and external requestors.
Maintains confidentiality of the credentialing information.

Salary: $39,300 - 53,100

What You Will Do

Provides peer health navigation services to help clients connect with community-based services and supports.

Government Claims Processor/Examiners are a key part of the department's successful operation. Processor/Examiners are in daily contact with team members, clients and providers. The Accommodation Consultant (AC) is the subject matter expert related to accommodations and sits within a team of peer consultants who support Sun Life Clients including the employers, employees for exploring and implementing workplace accommodations, leave as an accommodation and plans for both keeping and returning employee's to the essential functions of their job. In this role, you work within a team environment among a peer group and business partners with related subject matter expertise to service client needs related to absence, disability, and accommodations.
How you will contribute
Providing day to day support of Sun Life client's regulatory obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) alongside and in collaboration with the client HR and management team, specific to both leave and non-leave workplace accommodations.
Assisting Sun Life client's and their employees in the detailed components of the ADA interactive process to gather and clarify medical information; to evaluate and identify accommodation options and to provide the client necessary guidance to make an informed accommodation decision.
Facilitation and engagement in interactive dialogue with employees, medical professionals, supervisors, and HR business partners to assist employees who require workplace accommodations based upon a medical condition.
Documentation and tracking of the request for accommodation including detailed points of contact and actions taken to coordinate the accommodation request.
Assisting employers with development of essential function job descriptions.
